Symbiosis colleges are internationally acclaimed with students of various nationalities. My college which is Symbiosis College of arts and Commerce located in Pune might seem like it doesn't live up to the brand name that is Symbiosis because of the infrastructure. Upon first view, it looked no better than a normal college without space that looked like a building. The college does not have eye-catching infrastructure but the quality of the faculties and the students are no less than every other Symbiosis college. Qualified faculties and various programs and clubs to enhance the student's skills and talents make this college a perfect choice. The admission process was solely based on class 12th marks. Based on these marks the admission cell prepares merit lists. This is for BA and Bcom courses. More than 2 merit lists are prepared. It is said the cut-off is 80%
Course Curriculum Overview :
Most faculty members are PhD holders and well-qualified. They teach in a way that keeps students entertained and enlightened. Respons well to our queries and takes time and effort to clear those. Very proficient faculties for a low fee rate. The fees in this college are lower than most and provide quality teaching. My course BA English has a fee rate of almost 85000 for 3 years. Lesser than 1 lakh for 3 whole years. Exams are conducted twice a year. There are no mid-term, half-yearly exam patterns. One annual exam for one semester. There is no unnecessary stress given by the college in terms of exams. Each sem exam constitutes the syllabus of that particular sem and nothing more. The exams aren't too hard if systematic studies are conducted on the student's part.

Display of student's performing talents during the major fest of the college known as SYMAGINE. Entrepreneurship skills and marketing skills are displayed at a fest known as INDRADHANU, where the college allows students to put up stalls to sell their products and gain money and exposure towards marketing and the idea of business. SYMPHORIA, the literary fest is for the bookworms and all alike. Pop quizzes, dramas, storytelling and so on are conducted for students to display their literary talents. The different clubs for students include cultural clubs, literary clubs, and many others that focus on marketing and business and so on. Extracurriculars include kabaddi, basketball, football, cricket, badminton College hostel gets filled up pretty fast, especially with NRIs. If you're looking for a PG then Gokhale Nagar is the best place. Near to the college, you get every kind of shop in the area so there won't be a need to travel for essentials.

It aims at providing placement to students in reputed companies with handsome packages around 80% placement was done in our batch. All the students got chance to prove themselves in campus placements. Companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, Make my trip, Amazon, flipkart, Infosys, HDFC, ICICI etc. visit the campus offers an average package ranges 3 - 4.5 LPA going on to Highest was 28 - 45 LPA Companies conduct interview sessions, GD, test for selection of students.

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Internship was also provided by college to give students practical experience and knowledge about current changing environment.

i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
Reality of niat

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced.
