- The location of the college is very bad, even the nearest metro station from the college is 8km away and the road to college from the metro station is also not good.
- Once you in the college you cannot go out without the professors permission.
Remarks :
No, at my time of admission, there were no such group discussions, interviews, or written tests for admission. For the admission process, I first took the entrance exam for the BBA course and after that, I got a call from the college to book my seat for the admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course fees of the college were 80,000 the first year then 78,000 the second year then 76,000 the third year. But now the fee structure has been changed. The faculty in the college is good, can be much better in my experience, and some of the professors are supportive.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, I once opted for an internship at the college. It was of finance and sales. The majority of the internships offered to students from the college were in sales. In my college internship experience, I had to make a sale of the bank insurance.
Placement Experience :
The college provides placements to students from the college placement drives. The placement drives are there for students in the second and third years. The second-year student gets the internship opportunity and the third-year student gets the job opportunity.
Campus Life :
The infrastructure of the college is good, but at my time there were not many clubs to take part in, but there were dance and music clubs. The canteen in the college is not good, the experience could have been much better.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
