- College has good infrastructure and good facilities required for students.
- Faculty is Well Educated and well experienced.
- Campus life is full of joy, new friends new environment. For me specially Labs, class And most special is Boys Hostel and College play ground.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is good but the machine are mostly old or we can say old fashioned.
- College timing may be hectic to you which is 10 am to 5 pm (generally 3.30 - 4 pm)
Remarks :
First of all, I have to pass an entrance exam for the D.Pharm course called "JEEP". I Got a good rank so I was able to get admission to this college, This college is ranked among the top polytechnic colleges in Uttarakhand and north India, so I wanted to take admission to it. After passing the entrance exam I have to fill counseling form online in which I have to fill colleges of my choice so I choose This college. After getting selected I was asked for admission to the college, The administration staff Was very helpful.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I always wanted to be in medical field so i choose Pharmacy course. For pharmacy this is best college without any doubt. Faculty is Well Educated, and well experienced. Teaching methods are very practical. Exam are arranged as - Three Sessionals and One Annual exam. Fees is very reasonable 12950 yearly and 1020 registration/exam fees. You can also enroll for Scholarship from National Scholarship Portal.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, currently I am doing my hospital Internship at "Doon Medical College and Hospital ". Here we get training about the health care system and hospital and community pharmacy. My work in this internship so far is Dispensary- drug (medicine) dispensing to the patient Main store - Inventory control, Drug and medical equipment distribution all over the hospital, Record maintenance, etc Sub store - Inventory control, Drug and medical equipment distribution to the various wards, record maintenance
Placement Experience :
The college also provides placements and job opportunities to the students. Some big companies like Tata, Mahindra,Appollo Pharmacy, Cipla, etc. The college has about 90% of students getting placement every year
Campus Life :
The College conducts various fest like Fresher party or annual day. The library has almost every book related to the course you are pursuing. College Sports are conducted generally after the first sessional examination, then there are Zonal and State games respectively. For my two years of course duration, I was a resident of the college hostel, the registration process is very easy you just have to fill out a form, hostel capacity is for 60 boys and 40 girls( for Girls and Boys there are separate hostels). Food quality is Good and food is served as per the menu. Fees for staying in the hostel are 4000 annually and mess fees depend upon the Tender.

Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
