Remarks :
The main factor in selecting Canara is its structure and education system. When we enter, we feel like entering heaven. The bad aspect is about examination. The timetable will be very confusing at the time of the exam. The admission process will be easy compared to other colleges. First, we should bring the admission form then they'll call us for the interview. The interview will be held by the principal of the college. There will be no written test for the admission. Only some questions will be asked during the interview. It's better to choose a college like canara because the faculties will not only concentrate on education but also in co-curricular activities also.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The main reason to choose this course is as I'm interested in computers and mathematics. The faculties teach us very nicely and understandingly. They teach us through online classes also. The exams will be in every 2 months. The sem exam will be in the 5th or 6th month. They will finish all the chapters without any difficulty. The fees are less compared to other colleges. There are no donation fees in Canara. They take only the amount that is required. They also provide scholarship from the college so that students can pay the fees and also encourages us to take part in other scholarships also.
Internships Opportunities :
No, I did not have any internship as we are in 1st year, the internship programs will be in 3rd year. So there will be an internship facility in 3rd year for all the students on the campus itself with seminars.
Placement Experience :
There will be JOB-FAIR in the 6th sem. Where so many companies come to our college. Many interviews will be provided by the job people. And many people will be selected for the job. Last time 50 students were selected for different kinds of jobs offered by different companies.
Campus Life :
The campus is full of greenery as we enter we feel like entering heaven. The vast campus with so many classrooms. The fest will be held in December for one week including traditional day, NSS day, etc. Even sports day is also there in the 2nd week of December. We also have Srujana the NSS fest where many other colleges come to participate in the various competitions held by our NSS volunteers. There are many other clubs like Tulu Sanga, kannada Sanga, science club etc as ECC activities. We also have CAN-CAFE we there are all sort of foods starting from snacks to lunch and also fresh drinks. There is a huge seating facility in Canteen. Also we have hostels near our college for the students who comes from far away places.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
