- I like the environment of the college most which made me choose this college.
- Teachers re great too as they are Phd holders and doctarate holders. They teach very efficiently too.
Dislikes
- Some rules will be kind of worse and they don't make any sense.
- It will be very hard during rainy season as the roads near college will be drained
Remarks :
My college name is Vishnu Institute of Technology which is located in Bhimavaram of West Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh. It is located on the outskirts of the town and very peaceful environment which will be overwhelming when someone sees it for the first time. The faculty are great too as all of them are phd holders and very experienced which is the main reason for most students to join the college. To get into the college one has to appear for the EAMCET entrance exam conducted by the government of Andhra Pradesh and has to qualify for a below 20000 rank in the exam to get into the college. Also, the software departments have a cutoff below 10000 and it would be much less for general candidates.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are the upcoming technologies and the world is looking towards the wonders of AI, it inspired me more to take the course of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. I'm very much shocked by the course structure as all of the latest technologies like Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, and also Full Stack Course which is included in the syllabus. Also, we have labs to learn hands-on which gives us more motivation to learn things and implement them. The exams are not as easy as many think as it is a private college but most of the seats are filled by the EAMCET exam which brings quality students. So, the exams won't be easy too. Scholarships will be provided by the government of Andhra Pradesh for the people who require financial aid to study.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, the College provides some internships too which may convert to full-time offers sometimes. The college has a separate group for internships, which consists of different offers posted every day. We can choose from the one we like.
Placement Experience :
There will be several companies coming for campus placements like Adobe, Hero Motorcorp, Mahindra, Mercedes Benz, TCS, Wipro etc. First of all, to be eligible for the placements one has to clear the screening tests conducted by the companies themselves and other rounds like aptitude to attend the interview of the company. The recruiting will be done in offline mode. The average package would be around 5 LPA. All the branches are placed into different companies. Mechanical students may attend the software interviews too.
Campus Life :
The college life of the student would be amazing too as there is a program that will be conducted every month. Freshers for the first years will be conducted in September or October, it will be given by the second years to welcome the first years. Every year in December month there will be a college fest which would be like a main heart for events in college and every March there will be an annual day for the college. All kinds of books are available in the college library. There are many clubs in college too like sports clubs, ML clubs, and Build clubs.

Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.
