- I love my college campus. It is so lush and green and there's a lot of places to just sit and study without any disturbance.
- The faculty is ever so helpful and is almost always available. They are just a text or phone call away, catering to our needs and doubts but also guiding us.
Dislikes
- There needs to be more interaction among students from different branches to inculcate some more inter departmental spirit.
- The canteen food could be better. The previous management was better and I don't know why they recently changed it.
Remarks :
The college has very knowledgeable and experienced faculty who are there every step of the way assisting the students. The campus has a lot of academic and non-academic facilities to offer which helps the students hone their skills to help in their career as well as in their life. The admission happens based on how you have performed in competitive exams after your 12th grade and depending on that, you get merit seats. Getting admission through management is another option as well where you might have to sit for an interview. Multiple counselling rounds help in making a decision.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering because it has a prominent place in the job market in the coming years and I have an interest in animation and editing software. A lot of the teachers have a PhD and are very approachable. Term exams are very frequent since each semester lasts about 5-6 months and they have to give us 2 sets of internal exams and one set of final exams. The fee has pretty much remained consistent through the years but management seats' prices keep fluctuating. There are some scholarships that BMSIT offers but for further details, you can contact their admission manager through the official website.
Internships Opportunities :
Since I am a first-year student, we can't apply to many internships since it's mostly entertained 3rd sem onwards but we do attend a lot of educational workshops hosted by companies such as CISCO, NASA, etc.. A lot of the tasks provided are basic and student-oriented and used as learning platforms.
Placement Experience :
One is eligible for placements only if they're a student in the 6th semester or more. A lot of students start working part-time jobs in the 7th semester itself. Some of our usual recruiters are Amazon, IBM, Wipro, Samsung etc. There are plenty of packages offered with the average one being 16-18 LPA. Each year at least 40% of the students who sit for placement interviews get placed but even that statistic keeps changing every year based on how the job market is doing.
Campus Life :
The campus life in BMSIT is vibrant. You get to meet a lot of people and classes can be just as enjoyable since a lot of the lectures are interactive. There are frequent technical, inter-departmental and cultural fests held in the college to help the students enjoy and relax while also participating in the events to meet new people, develop connections, learn new skills, be a part of a team etc. The college has an en number of clubs for students to take part in based on their interests such as coding, dancing, sports, music, drama, photography etc.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
