To be honest brand value and quality of education made me choose this college. The admission process was a little lengthy as seats were far too many. We had different quotas and therefore as many as 5 cut-off lists came out. One has to fill out the form and then check the lists that came out week after week. Once you find your name, you have to apply for admission within 3 days or else you lose your seat. So to get a seat in Symbiosis you have to sit on the edge till the lists are out. The cut-off of each year's merit list is different.
I choose Bcom hons in costing as my major and banking as my minor. The faculty is excellent every faculty has great potential and knowledge you get to learn many new things from every faculty. Exams are held semester-wise 2 semesters per year and the difficulty level is moderate if one has studied he/she can score good marks. The fee increases or decreases as you go to a new academic session.
Many companies came to offer internships. Since my subject was banking, I chose my intern role at Axis Bank and likewise, many other banks came to give internship opportunities to the students. Not only banks but many different companies came with different roles.
The eligibility criteria for placement is anybody who is in 3rd year can appear in placement but should not have any active backlog. There are many big companies which come for placement such as Deloitte, KPMG, Deshaw, Northern Trust etc. the highest package was 22lakhs
Our annual fest Symagine is one of the most hyped fests in Pune. From Ted talks to open mic, Symbiosis organizes n number of events all year around. There are nearly 40 odd societies from dance to drama that are highly active throughout the year. One can learn not just academics but various life lessons at Symbiosis. Even inter-college sports competitions are also organised. There are many different clubs and to become a member of the club one needs to go through a selection process which is done through an interview.
The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown, people are more focused on mental health, thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.
