BMS is one of the best private colleges in Bengaluru and the whole of India It has a good alumni network and placement statuses. The Karnataka students are admission through the KCET exam and other state students through the COMED-K.
I have chosen computer science and engineering. The faculty are mostly M.tech or PhD holders. The way of teaching professors is casual and not bad or good There are 3-time unit tests and a semester-end exam.
There are also mass recruit companies and startups also product base companies come to the campus for the recruitment of the students. Also, about half of the students got internship opportunities. students can build their projects according to their languages.
The return on investment of BMSCE college is around 8 lakhs. There is no such a hard eligibility but you have no backs in the semesters. The highest package is around 50 lakhs Around 80-85 per cent of students in the CSE department are placed.
BMSCE does not celebrate many fests but there is a very big and nice fest named Ustav for the student's enjoyment it lasts for two or three weeks. Also, the BMSCE team has participated in cricket events and gym activities. I have opted for a hostel. The hostel facilities are medium levelled.
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.
I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities
The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum
The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
