A very good college because of the beautiful campus and good facilities
Likes
- Wifi is available in the library and hostel and also in the labs. U get to see the best infrastructure in our campus and the campus if full of Greenery.
- The hostels are very clean and they provide hygienic food. As the bgs hospital is nearby it's very beneficial for students in case of any emergency and they even provide confessions for our college students in the hospital. Our college encourages sports and they conduct inter college sport competitions
Dislikes
- There are many dogs in the campus. They don't harm us
- There is no proper bus facility from bus stand to campus as it is 1km far
Remarks :
I saw the review of this college on Google it has a good review and I asked many seniors who studied in this college. They were placed with good packages. U can join this college through KCET, COMEDK and also through management quota. I prepared for KCET on my own.
Course Curriculum Overview :
CSE is a training branch so I chose CSE. The teachers are very helpful and they have a very good hold on the subject. There are 3 internals and 1 semester-end exam for every sem. The exams are a little difficult compared to VTU exams. The college assists us in applying for government scholarships like SSP and NSP.
Internships Opportunities :
Internships are provided by the college itself. We can also apply for internships off campus as per our wish but the college provides good internship facilities for students which is very useful for students. Very good internship facilities are provided.
Placement Experience :
About 80% of the students get placed in our college (from the CSE branch) The highest package was 26 Lakhs per annum and the lowest was 4 lakhs per annum Top recruiters are Infosys, Walmart, just dial and Wipro Many companies that are the top recruiters provide internships for 70% of the students As I am in the 1st year I don't have much idea about the roles offered

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
