- I just like the infrastructure here . Because the classrooms of BCA building are air conditioned. And the tables and chairs are good too .
- The faculty overall is good and have a nice teaching method , and are highly educated
Dislikes
- No campus life . No fests or programs are organised
- The college fees is not worth the college life we get here . No placements . I regret taking admission here
Remarks :
The admission criteria are based on the 12th percentage more than on the CUET exam result. The cut-off was average. There are so many facilities in this university. There is zero college life, no fests or programs. There are inadequate systems for students. The faculty is not too good. Also, the placement rate is null. Companies rarely visit this college, the companies that visit are not too nice and offer fewer packages. Studying here is a waste.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I wanted to build my career in computer science. I wish to pursue a career in cyber security so I chose BCA. The faculty is highly educated. Not all teachers are good. Only a few have a really good teaching method, the rest are just average. The exams were average too.
Internships Opportunities :
No, there are no internship opportunities provided here. No companies are visiting the campus. Placements are less than 5% in this university. Students are not satisfied with the campus placements.
Placement Experience :
Companies rarely visit this university/campus. The companies aren’t nice. They offer a smaller package. Students don’t get placed here. Even there are no internship offers. Rarely 5% of students get placed with a very basic package.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As mentioned in the brochure, the fee used to be 39000 every year. But this year, the fee hiked and now onwards fee will increase by 10% every year said by the vice chancellor. The fee is now 48000 for this year and it will be 56000 next year. The DSEU university has hiked fees for every course. The fee is equal for all and paying hike fees apply to all students.
Campus Life :
There are no tests conducted. They don’t organise any extracurricular activities. There is no campus life. Students are not allowed to play and practice sports. There are too many restrictions here.
Hostel Facilities :
No hostel facility. The students who live far away have no option for rooms here. The campus area is too clumsy and clustered and there is no cleanliness. This university has no hostel facility on every campus.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
