Remarks :
Mainly, Proximity from my home made me choose the college. The faculty and campus are good. They have all the necessary utilities needed for a good experience. I got an admission through IPU CET with a score of 3836
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculties are excellent. A perfect start for freshers. They make you comfortable in the college and are there to help and adapt to this transition seamlessly. They all are well qualified and trained to perfection
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The course fee will keep on increasing with each year depending upon the assignment, lectures, and events. It will eventually depend on the college for the increment of each year. Overall, it is a little costly
Campus Life :
There is a wide variety of clubs and student councils to choose from. The social life is good as well as the crowd. It has been a good experience so far with the events and clubs. The facilities are very kind to be involved and help in the clubs

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated
