Remarks :
It was one of the top 10 colleges at my time, and there was a talk that Vasavi College had very great placements at that time so I chose to join this college. I was admitted in this college through EAMCET rank, as my rank was around 3000 so I got into Cse.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because of my interest and passion in CSE. The faculty in our college are well educated, some have Phd degrees too and most of the learning is done by self-learning in any college. And there are term exams every semester i.e. for every 4 to 5 months and they were of medium difficulty level I would say .
Internships Opportunities :
no, I have not opted for any internships, but every year some companies come in our 3rd year 1st semester to recruit interns from our college, and our college also supports off-campus internships if they are aligned without college timelines and dates.
Placement Experience :
For most of the placements, the eligibility criteria for service-based is 6.5 to 7 above and that of product-based is 8 above. Some of our recruiters are Service Now, providence, visa, deliveroo, oracle etc.... The max. intake for all these companies was 5 and not more than that. The highest package on campus was 42 LPA for service now and last year the average salary was around 11 LPA. I'm planning to get a job in a good product-based company.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
tuition fee:130000 Special fee:1000 OU fee: 1500 medical insurance: 475 I am not currently eligible for any scholarship but if the people eligible for scholarships are there then they get some amount of fee reimbursement l=and there are also separate scholarships for girls especially
Campus Life :
We have this fest called Euphoria, which is said to be one of the best fest in Hyderabad. But to be honest, they were like above-average fests and it is conducted once every year around April month. We have a library and we can get all kinds of books over there and there is also a book lending scheme. Our college also participated in many national levels. We also have an E-cell i.e. called Swayam cell and we have NSS clubs and also we have many other clubs like GDSC, filmmaking, Toastmasters, MUN,...etc

The campus placements are good and there are companies coming in every year for fresh talent but it all comes down to our talent. We are provided with an opportunity but we have to work for it ourselves.

Students who maintain a good academic record and possess strong technical and communication skills have better chances of getting placed. Generally, students with no active backlogs and a minimum academic percentage as specified by the recruiting company are eligible to participate in campus placements. A few recruiters visit the college for hiring, mainly for entry-level roles in software, IT support, and core engineering domains. However, the number of offers is limited, and only around 40–50% of students secure campus placements. The average salary package offered ranges from ?3–4 LPA, while the highest package varies depending on the company and the student's performance. The college also encourages students to apply for paid internships, which help them gain practical industry experience and improve their technical skills

I am still in my second year, so I havent sat for placements yet. But the college starts preparing us early with coding practice, projects, aptitude training, resume building sessions, and mock interviews. FRom interacting with seniors, I have heard that students who stay consistent with their skills get good opportunities

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.
