I choose this college because it is affordable, offers great hospitality, and is close to my home. The cutoff for B.tech is quite low, which made it easier for me to get in. I've completed my First year without any major issues. However , there are some downsides. The faculty isn't very strong, and students from outside the area may face travel difficulties. Additionally, attendance isn't strictly enforced.
The faculty at my college is quite avg. While some professors are knowledgeable, others lack the vibe needed to engage students effectively. This inconsistency can impact the quality of learning, Especially for those who rely on lectures. And the course curriculam is standard and aligns with typical B.tech found in many college. It covers essential topics but lacks in teaching some different and innovative topic, The curriculum is rigid with limited opportunities to be honest, And Academically, the college focuses on passing the exam rather the deep under standing for the subject. Assessment methods predominantly consist for written exam while this ensure student meets minimum requirement to pass.
personally I've got no internship by now as I'm in second year so I got no experience in internship field and what position you get in your internship, My seniors have worked in internship and they had a good experience.
the campus placement isn't really very impressive you just have to make efforts, There are 250 companies mentioned in the list Like tcs, jaguar, vistar, inox, godrej etc. And the placment cell is very responsive to students you've a plus point here. But at the placement time they go by your grades in 10th and 12th you cgpa matters I've heard this by my seniors
The detailed fees structure for csmit is 145,000 per year and total of 4 year is 580,000 and tuition fees is 55,000. There are many types of quota given for students such as scholarship for meritorious student, scholar ship for defense personnel/ Freedom fighters , sports category, Minorities, handicap students etc. admission fees for students is minimum 50% for the tuition fees I've paid 25,000 for the admission process registration fees of 10000 is non refundable which is added to regular fees later after admissiona and aplication fee is 1100 that's all.
life on campus at my college is pretty typical for an indian college. There isn't anything particularly fancy, But Its's place where students can find there own rhythm. Social life revolves around everyday interaction, With students and gathering, chat or study together. While the campus itself might not have a vibrant social sense, The college does host a few annual fest such as aarambh which are highlight of the year. Extracurricular activities are available, but they aren't major focus. Students interested in specific hobbies or skills can join the clubs although these are often informal and students-led social groups are primarily active through whatsapp, discord etc. The college also organizes various sports events through out the year, students participate in activities like cricket, table tenis, chess, egames and more the college has a library decent books of collection but not very much.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
