Course Curriculum Overview :
ARI is affiliated with IMU (international Maritime University). The entrance exam is a little bit difficult to crack. Also to apply to IMU u have to score 65 per cent or above in 12 classes. Once u get admitted to ARI you two clear 2 semesters and after that 6 months for STCW courses to get onboard the ship.
Placement Experience :
Better get sponsored before DNS. You have to apply yourself to companies as instructed by your college once you get selected for the course. After completing the DNS,18 months of training on the ship then give 2nd mate exams for promotion.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
One time payment,5.9 lacs 50 percent concession for female. The fees include all tuition fees and hostel fees for the stay of 1 year. Need to pay extra fees for semester exam fees and practical exams. Also, books are provided by institutions for free.
Campus Life :
Campus life I will say very disciplined just like in the Army. U have to wake at 5:30 pm then PT, housekeeping breakfast classes playtime study time watch in other the whole day is well planned. Introduction Ceremony All festival celebration Intercollege sports competition Debate Competition
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facilities are quite good. Dorms are 8 persons per room. AC rooms all are fully furnished with no extra fees for hostels all are included in 5.9 lacs. Food is good experience cook. Veg and non-veg facilities are available.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
