- Faculty was nice and very understanding. Some teachers were so polite and fun loving.
- Campus was within the market so it was easy for us to roam and have food within the given break time.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure was too small. It was like the college started and ended within 5 min.
- Faculty was nice but some teachers were very rude.
Remarks :
The college was just 5km away from my home and i went there on my scuty. Although the infrastructure was too small and conjusted. Bit the faculty was very nice and understanding. The canteen was also good. Parking space was less. And other outside the college, police station is also there so full safety.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I took commerce in 12th so i wanted to pursue bcom honors and I got enrolled in this college. It was near my home and favulty, staffs, colleagues everyone was good. We use to have class test of 15 marks each and it was easy to score, 1 hour was given to us for class test. And then 75 marks of exams use to happen in any other campus. 10 marks were given for attendence as well. Attendence should be more or equal to 75%.
Internships Opportunities :
There were no options for internship but yes placements were there and many companies came like LG, Godrej, Accenture. Good salary package was provided to the students in the third year itself. Major and minor projects were given. That can be done by choosing any company and writing everything about the company opted
Placement Experience :
I never went for the interview which happened in my college, but after my college i worked with Amazon which provided 500000pa salary package. The recruited who came to our college was from LG, Godrej, Accenture etc.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In my college, the first year tuition fees was 85000 and second year also it was around 88000 but in 3rd and last year it went upto 114000. For seat allotment and freezing the fees is 40000 which gets adjusted in the tuition fees. No other charges were there everything was included in the tuition fees. Even in every semester we were taken to industrial visit like a picnic n that was also free.
Campus Life :
Our college was engaged in everything like sports such as football, cricket, volleyball, chess etc. There were fest as well were big celebrities use to come in the month of November and March. Last time milind gaba came in the fest. Even some fun activities were also conducted and we took part in that like quiz of Harry Potter, or making 3 dishes without using gas, and biology quiz etc.
Hostel Facilities :
Unfortunately, there was no hostel facility in my college as i already mentioned the college was too small. Even if there was hostel facility I would not have opted that as i lived within 5km of that area.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
