Regional centres handle counselling sessions, practical examinations, and term-end examination work. PSSOU also authorises study centres at degree colleges and other institutions across Chhattisgarh, helping students from remote and tribal districts access distance education.

Since PSSOU is an open university, it does not provide hostel or campus residential facilities. Students mostly use the online portal and visit regional centre examination venues when required.
