Jamia Hamdard Scholarships: Students' Financial Support Fund

• Jamia Hamdard allocates a budget to the Students' Financial Support Fund (SFSF) to provide financial assistance to students in need. Students whose parents or guardians have an annual income of less than Rs. 4.5 lakh are eligible for support from SFSF, subject to availability. Eligibility is based on their satisfactory performance in the previous year's examination and other criteria set by the University.
• Tuition Fee Reduction for Indian Students Fee concessions will be applicable from the 2nd Year/Third Semester (after passing the first year/second-semester examination) and beyond, depending on the academic performance in the respective course. Eligible candidates must apply for fee concessions by the latest deadline of 30th September of the academic session.

• 50% reduction of the Annual Tuition Fee, for up to 10% of students in each course, based on merit-cum-means. The criteria for eligibility are as follows: i. Maintain at least 75% class attendance in the academic year for which the fee concession is sought. ii. Achieve an aggregate of 90% Marks or above in the previous year's examinations and pass all subjects on the first attempt. iii. Ensure that the annual income of the student's parent or guardian does not exceed Rs. 4.5 lakh from all sources. iv. Provide a certificate of good academic performance, which must be verified by the respective Head of the Department and endorsed by the Dean of the School.
• 25% reduction of the Annual Tuition Fee, for up to 10% of students in each course, subject to merit-cum-means. The eligibility criteria are as follows: i. Maintain at least 75% class attendance in the academic year for which the fee concession is sought. ii. Achieve an aggregate of 80% Marks or above in the previous year's examinations and pass all subjects on the first attempt. iii. Ensure that the annual income of the student's parent or guardian does not exceed Rs. 4.5 lakh from all sources. iv. Provide a certificate of good academic performance, which must be verified by the respective Head of the Department and endorsed by the Dean of the School.

Jamia Hamdard provides an opportunity for meritorious international students to receive a partial fee concession from the Students' Aid Fund. The fee concession becomes applicable from the second year or third semester, following the successful completion of the first year or second semester, based on academic performance. Foreign candidates are eligible for a fee concession of 25% and 15%. However, the eligibility criteria are different for both. Foreign national students at Jamia Hamdard can avail of a 25% and 15% discount on the annual tuition fee for the academic year, provided they maintain a minimum of 75% class attendance during the academic year, achieve a minimum of 85% marks (in aggregate) and 65% marks (in aggregate) in the examinations of the previous academic year respectively. They must successfully pass all subjects in the previous academic year on the first attempt. They must present a certificate demonstrating outstanding academic performance. This certificate should be verified by the respective Head of the Department and endorsed by the Dean of the School.
