Cept is the world best institute for design field. Yes to get admission in 2019 we had to attend its 3 hour entrance exam. They would not declare the result only the declared results were if you are selected or not. After selection for urban filed there is interview round and for design filed its direct admission.

I got a 544 AIR in the UCEED competitive examination and applied to the college and later got accepted. I chose CEPT because it is a well established college with a good network of alumni and it checked out all the parameters of a good college

There was a uceed exam. The rank and score from that made a merit list out of which 80 students were selected. So overall the admission process is very easy. There were no interviews or tests or any group discussions.

The admission process is very straight forward. You apply on the cept University website for your desired course, there are a variety of options. Based on your UCEED Score you will be ranked in CEPT's merit list. Based on your rank the top 40(seats) will be selected. Architecture has 120 seats. I prepared for the exam by going to a coaching center(DQ Labs). This is not necessary just do some free tests online and do a basic preparation for theory. Practice sketching daily for the UCEED test it will help. For architecture 40 seats come under gujrat quota.
