Review of master’s in construction engineering and management at CEPT university

What I Liked

I really like the infrastructure of the Cept university
I really like the campus of the Cept university

What I didn’t like

There is nothing that i dislike about my college
There is nothing that i dislike about my college

Placement Experience:

So far so many companies have recruited the proud students of the Cept university’s construction engineering and management. Students can get minimum package of 6 lacs and goes up to 12 lacs, if I’m not wrong

Internships Opportunities:

No i have not applied for any internship in this course of masters in construction engineering and management at CEPT university, neither I wish to, if I want to want to apply for any internship then I’ll do by myself

Review of CEPT from a newbie’s perspective

What I Liked

There are a lot of events each department has their own event once a year along with a campus wide fest
The infrastructure is great along with the canteen where the food is almost home like

What I didn’t like

There are too many dogs on campus which can be a distraction at times
The buildings are not fully equipped with air conditioning just a few rooms

Placement Experience:

There is no placement cell as such but rather students are placed through a network of connections the university has with different partners in the industry mainly though internships so if you intern for a company you are likely to get a job there as well

Internships Opportunities:

I havent opted for any internships as i am still in my first year but i look forward to working in the industry through CEPT University from what i have heard from the seniors it is a great experience the internships

CEPT Ahmedabad ; A lifestyle

What I Liked

campus life, food, infrastructure, environment, culture
experienced faculty members, interactive studio spaces

What I didn’t like

sometimes the workload gets a little too much but it’s worth it
the humidity of ahmedabad and full day studios

Placement Experience:

There is no specific placement department in cept but students get a lot of respect in their respective fields coming from cept. companies come to hire themselves. the packages depend on the company a a nd region.

Internships Opportunities:

no i am still in third year but students go to their internships in the fourth year. The admin decides which semester they go in. They are offered experience in their respective fields and it helps a lot to write the research project in the last semester.

Great campus life

What I Liked

Night life is very good and overall social life is good
Administration is very quick and firm.

What I didn’t like

Road in the campus. Too dangerous and prone for slipping.

Placement Experience:

I am not well aware of the placement system in cept but I'm aware that it's considered good for placement. They have in campus placement while also abroad internships as well as internships in the country as well.

Internships Opportunities:

Did not apply for the internship but from what I have heard from people is that they've had good experiences. Whether their internship is in country or abroad. The college also does provide internships sometimes in administration while sometimes as teaching assistants.

Experiencing the journey at CEPT

What I Liked

I like the vibe on the campus especially during the evenings.
I love that we have a great culture of music bands all around the campus.

What I didn’t like

I don’t like the canteen food much but yeah it has to be substantially improved.
I don’t like the dogs loitering around our campus it’s very difficult for the maintenance staff also when they are all around.

Placement Experience:

Placements in CEPT are great they help us with various things such we get placements in various international firms, good national architectural firms, and good options for student internships as well.

Internships Opportunities:

I did my internship at BDP (Building Design Partnership) in New Delhi it’s an MNC firm based all around the world. I got selected because of my portfolio and also with the help of cept placement cell as well.

Life at CEPT

What I Liked

Very good architecture. All the building are made by good architects and follow the same language throughout the campus.
Creativity is cherished here. You have the opportunity to make installations and other models for college which they will fund.

What I didn’t like

It should be 24 /7 campus all year long.
The campus dogs cause many issues they should be controlled.

Placement Experience:

There are some recruiters but most of the internships you have to apply on your own As a fresh graduate you get a low starting package. Based on your work and the company you can expect anywhere from 10000-40000 as a graduate. It will increase with more experience.
