Candidates who are Indian national and have passed Class 12 in India, fall under General Category. Admission to Engineering program under General Category is based on merit in the Online All India Entrance Test - NUCAT (Nitte University Common Admission Test). 20% of the seats in each program / branch are earmarked for toppers in NUCAT. Admission with a scholarship up to 40% of the prescribed fee will be offered to the candidates for these 20% of seats, based on inter se merit.
