The academic and teaching faculty here is the best, no doubt. The course curriculum is well structured. The academics focuses on both theoretical and practical aspects very well enough. There are 3 sessionals of 100 marks each, in every 2-3 months. The difficulty level is moderate.

All the faculties teaching us extremely qualified and we'll educated, most of them teach great but since we are at a university in a professional course we cannot ofc expect spoon feeding, we have to put in equal efforts from our side too. 1st year faculties are specifically excellent, 2nd years are great too and talking about clinical sides the senior doctors are well experienced and enthusiastic for teaching. We have larger group sessions and small group sessions with the class divided in 4 batches , then we have the same batches for practical and even smaller units of 7 - 12 people in clinical postings. Talking about exams we have 3 main sessionals and 3 main CIE ( continuous internal evaluation exams ) throughout the year along with multiple other cies , ospes and osces . The exams level is slightly difficult, without studying consistently it will be difficult to pass

The curriculum is NMC-based. You need to study and pass on your own. There is no such thing as the table activity that will pass you in exams. Teachers are highly professional and passionate about their jobs. Anatomy, pharmacology, orthopaedics, obstetrics and gynaecology departments are amazingly good. Scholarships are not offered, sadly. Fees, currently are around 18L/annum for 4.5 years.

I chose this course because of my desire for academic rigour and to be a part of the healthcare world being a doctor, also for the economic stability of the profession. The faculty is very well qualified with a range of qualifications from Phd tutors to MD/MS professors and sufficient number of faculty are there with a good student:teacher ratio. Comprehensive teaching methods combining conventional and technological approach are used, simlabs, hospital postings, small group discussions, large group lectures and practical demonstrations are held. Exams are conducted timely throughout the year thrice and are of signigficant difficulty level for both the theory and practicals for every subject.

Course is for 4 years where u have to pay fees for only 3 years +1year internship where they provide salary Teaching is good. exam date will be given for the whole year in the beginning of the college itself .
