Rajmata Vijaya Raje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya or RVSKVV Gwalior was established in 2008 by the government of Madhya Pradesh. This university has been ranked seventh in ICAR and has backed a position of 26th in India by India today among top universities. The campus has zonal research stations for research activities in Morena, Khargone, Jhabua, Indore and Sehore, Fore Research Station for regional agriculture in Gwalior, Mandsaur, Ujjain and Khandwa.

The University offers UG, PG and PhD courses. The admission is through an ICAR and VYAPAM entrance exam in which the application mode is online. The University has a full-fledged placement cell under the Dean Student Welfare to provide campus placement to graduate and post-graduate students.

RVSKVV Gwalior Admissions

Undergraduate admissions are based on the entrance exam conducted by Professional Examination Board, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh (VYAPAM, Bhopal) or ICAR. Students have to be enlisted in the merit list created based on exam result and must clear the medical test. The admission into post-graduate and docoral research level courses are done thorugh Joint Entrance Exam (RVSKVV, Gwalior & JNKVV, Jabalpur) on merit basis. The mode of exam is online. PG Admission are based on GPA scores.
