RVSKVV Admission Criteria

Admission to the RVSKVV PhD program is done through the Joint Entrance Examination. The final allotment is done after two rounds of counseling. The first round is for the candidates of JNKVV and RVSKVV and the remaining students are allotted the seats after the second round of counseling, which will only be carried out if the seats remain vacant after the first round. 

Admission of in-service candidates to the M.Sc./Ph.D. program shall be made with the following guidelines:

  • One Candidate from each department of RVSKVV will be allowed for the PG program in every academic session.
  • It is mandatory for candidates to serve for a minimum period of five years at RVSKVV and must fulfill the minimum requirements as prescribed for regular students.
  • The maximum period for in-service candidates to complete the Master’s and Ph.D. programs will be 8 and 12 semesters respectively.
  • There should be a gap of at least five years between Bachelor’s & Master’s degree programs for in-service candidates.
  • In-service candidates will be given an advantage of one point for each year of service rendered to the University subject to a maximum of 10 points.
