Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (IGKV) is an autonomous non-profit Government University for Agricultural courses in India. It was established as a university in the year 1987 and is recognized by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), and University Grants Commission (UGC).

IGKV Admission 2022

How to apply?

  • Both UG and PG candidates are required to create a unique ID and password credential
  • UG applicants need to fill out the IGKV-PET/IGKV-PAT application form.
  • PG and Ph.D. applicants need to fill out the IGKV-CET application form.
  • For PG and Ph.D., you need to meet the criteria and if selected from the merit list, you need to submit the documents required.
  • Submit the required documents on the online application portal and then will be intimated about counselling rounds through the official website of the university
  • Scanned copies are required of 10+2 mark sheets, ID proof, signatures in running hands, semester-based sheets, Passport Size photographs, and copies of IGKV-PET/IGKV-PAT/ IGKV-CET

IGKV Cut-off 2022

The cut-off is the minimum rank required for the applicant to score in order to get admission or get shortlisted for counselling. As for CG PAT 2022, no cut-off is declared yet, but it is suggested to have a rank below 300 to get into IGKV University.

IGKV Scholarships

There are scholarships for students offered by UGC. There are criteria and if they meet the conditions scholarship is granted.

  • PG Scholarship Scheme for SC/ST Students for pursuing Professional Courses: candidates who are pursuing professional courses from UGC-recognized institutions. Amount granted Rs. 7,800 for ME/MTech and Rs. 4500 for other professional courses (both per month)
  • PG Scholarship for University Rank Holders: This is for UG level 1st and 2nd rank holders with a minimum of 60% marks at graduation. The candidate’s maximum age is 30 years. The amount granted is Rs. 3,100 per month.
  • Ishan Uday- Special Scholarship Scheme for North Eastern Region

Candidates domicile of NER and completed 10+2, with an annual income of rs.4.5 lakhs. Amount granted Rs.5,400/ month.

  • PG Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child- Candidates who are girls, pursuing PG program and age do not exceed 30 years. Granted amount Rs. 36,200 per annum.
