- College view is very good, there are crops on all sides, it looks very good, professor's also teach well and I like the digital library very much.
- I like digital classroom and college auditorium.
Dislikes
- There is a greenhouse in the college where we keep plants but it is not cleaned properly.
- Sports ground is not very good, a lot of cleaning has to be done.
Remarks :
To get admission in IGKV, you have to give a test, its name is PAT (pre agriculture test), if you are qualified in this test then you are given a college according to your rank and then after getting the documents verified from the university, you can join the college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this college because I was very interested in agriculture and the professor in our college taught me very well. The exams were held in 6 months, 30 marks practical, 10 marks mid term and 70 marks theory. You have to pass it. 40 marks are required for the clear.After completing B.Sc, you can do M.Sc and then PhD.
Internships Opportunities :
I am doing MSc so I did not pay attention to placements.Due to preparation for MSc, I did not pay attention to placements, but after completing MSc, I will have to pay attention to placements or else I will do PhD.
Placement Experience :
Most of the placements from our college are in agriculture sector, there are many companies like fertilizer company, seed company, it is possible for you to get placement in any of them or then you can try in other companies also, vacancy for government job in agriculture sector is also released.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In our college the fee is Rs 7000 per semester and there are total 8 semesters and the scholarship is Rs 15000 per year.since it is a government college the fees are less.In private colleges, the fees are slightly higher.
Campus Life :
The campus of our college is very good, the library has almost all the books related to the course and there is also a digital library, studying is easy with the help of computer and there are many crops in the field like okra, wheat, paddy, pea, chickpea, cotton, groundnut.Sports and Cultural Festival is also organized every year in our college.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is also very nice, mess room is also prepared cleanly, to get hostel in college one has to fill form from academic and then hostel is given, hostel fee in our college is Rs 2700 per year.There is also a TV on which we all watch the match.

There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
