Placements at our college are quite poor. Very few companies visit for recruitment, and the percentage of students getting placed is very low. The highest package is limited, and the average package is much lower than what is advertised. Internships are not provided by the college, and students have to find them on their own. Core companies rarely come, and most job opportunities are in unrelated fields.

Most of the placements from our college are in agriculture sector, there are many companies like fertilizer company, seed company, it is possible for you to get placement in any of them or then you can try in other companies also, vacancy for government job in agriculture sector is also released.

The jobs and placements opportunities are uploaded by the IGKV website through the placement cell corner in the website. Here students can find the placement opportunities for them and can apply they also provide us with workshops and job fairs.

There are mediocre placements and jobs but these jobs are good at their own when one makes his entry in corporate. One could earn about half a lakh and more too. Recruiters visit time to time. My plans are i will go for NABARD or other exams.

There is no placement guarantee in our college, for jobs we need to fight competitive exams for govt jobs. The highest package offered is 7 lakh per annum. You can start your own business like a Nursery, Krishi Kendra, etc. my plan after BSc is msc horticulture.

Eligibility criteria for placement is graduation. Every year University has organized a placement camp. In 2021 IDBI Bank recruited 8 candidates for the Assistant manager post. And every year various pesticide and seed companies recruit from our university. Around 50-60% of student are placed in placement.

There are no placement and job opportunities there. They promote and talk about start-up programs various start is funded by our university but there is nothing for those students who seek jobs. We don't get the opportunity to learn what's going on out in the world we don't get to visit other institutions colleges or companies.
