Read Full ReviewIn this college three faculty is present Agriculture , Horticulture and Technology faculty. All faculty is good at its course but I choosed agriculture cause I love to know about this subject or technique about agriculture cause I came from this background. Each faculty and faculty memeber have nicely manner or discipline about teaching the students. In agriculture faculty 66 student should qualify, 30 student in horticulture and 30 in technology. Teaching technique , equipment or teaching materials is sufficient available in the university. The teaching review 7out of 10.Each term exam need 4 months , question has difficult but you will pass if you read.
The placement cell is moderate to strong. Placements/job opportunities on renound fertilizer company and private banking sector is always open.Students eligible for campus placement only after course completion. But very few students opt for it and it is very less in terms of package.my plan is higher studues after getting degree.Package is around 4-6 Lahks per annum
Read Full ReviewI choose this course because of my interest in agriculture subject. The faculties teachers are very educated and also P.hd. Their teaching skills is so good and understanding. There are 2 exams in a sem one is mid term(30)& another is end term (50).
There are held a programme uttaran , there are come many companies and offered us job after completing the B.tech agricultural engineering. This are very helpful for many students. My plan after getting the degree I choose a job from placement cell.
Read Full ReviewAgricultural Engineering has wide aspect and you can do masters in many subjects such as Food processing, soil and water consv engineering, Marine engineering, Aquaculture, Industrial Engineering, Farm Machinery and Power, GIS, and many more. Most of the faculties have PhD degree from renowned institutes. On the difficulty level i would rate 9 out of 10. Its tough to get CGPA above 8.5. From 2009 only 3 batches have topper with cgpa above 8.5.
No backlogs is the one and only criteria. Some NGOs like Praadan, Prasari visits for placement and yearly approx. 5 offers are given. During training 20k and after 2 years of training 60k/month. Very less. Masters degree is mostly preferred or try for govt jobs.
Read Full ReviewOur courses are started very late for COVID but our faculty has taken the responsibility to occur timely term exams and they are perfectly doing it. For this, we have faced some problems because of very short time for getting very short time.
Internships are not getting. We want an internship after 3rd year. Some placements are happening in NGOs. The eligibility criteria for placement is the completion of 4th year of UG or our BSc degree. The average package is 20000thousand per month and after one year if someone becomes an executive then gets 68000.
Read Full ReviewI chose this course as it has many career opportunities. Moreover, the faculty is highly qualified, mostly from UBKV and BCKV universities. They have a good teaching experience. The term exams occur at the end of each semester with a mid-term for each and the difficulty level was moderate. The cost of study is affordable and I get an NTS scholarship.
Heard about it from friends. I had to take the CUET/ICAR UG entrance exam to qualify. This University is ICAR accredited and is among the top 50 agriculture colleges in India. This University also has Horticulture and Technology faculty.

Read Full ReviewThe course instructors are good with the quality being good but with fewer facilities exams are held twice each semester one mid-term and the other the end term. Scholarships are available one is the swami Vivekanand scholarship and the university has its scholarship program too.
As this was a state government university it insists students be admission here there are merits and demerits too as it is a government university less care is taken of it and with average facilities as you could expect in a government institution.
Read Full ReviewThe course curriculum is also good and the academics is also good, faculties are good and they helpful and in every problem, everyone will get help from them and the fees are without hostel your fees will be 4300 and with the hostel your fee will be 4900
Placement and job opportunities are also good it is not easy to get a government job from campusing but you can get private companies sometimes government banks are also avail for placement and other facilities
Read Full ReviewProfessors are very helpful. Their teaching ability is too good. There are 2 semesters in a year and each semester has mid exam (30 marks ) an end term exam ( 50 marks ) and practical & viva (20 marks ) for each subject There are 10-11 subjects in each semester. The term exams are timely. The main difficult subjects are GPB and ECO. So students have to read these subjects from earlier. There are monthly scholarships for merit students each semester.
UBKV is one of the top universities of AGRICULTURE accredited by ICAR. There are two ways of getting admission in ubkv. one is through the Total Marks of physics, chemistry and biology in WBCHSE for students of West Bengal and another one is through the car-AIEEA - UG exam conducted by NTA for admission in ICAR quota. There are also CBSE board quotas for Students of CBSE and the Hill quota is also present. I qualified by marks of the Higher secondary exam of WBCHSE.
