- Everybody should mainly focus on academics which is quite good Hostel facilities available for students.
- Library facility very good , Gym also available for students, also have a good internet connection.
Dislikes
- I personally don't like the examination section as they procees the results very late.
- The attendance part here is very strict and back examinations are conducted late.
Remarks :
Students with a higher mark only get chance to that university. In our UBKV, Students much get higher mark in Higher Secondary examination specially in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.The eligibility of the course is 12 passed with 85% score with science or vocational board. I count this link in online which called as ubky many type of improvement found in the online section so I found that it was very much beneficial for students.
Course Curriculum Overview :
In this college three faculty is present Agriculture , Horticulture and Technology faculty. All faculty is good at its course but I choosed agriculture cause I love to know about this subject or technique about agriculture cause I came from this background. Each faculty and faculty memeber have nicely manner or discipline about teaching the students. In agriculture faculty 66 student should qualify, 30 student in horticulture and 30 in technology. Teaching technique , equipment or teaching materials is sufficient available in the university. The teaching review 7out of 10.Each term exam need 4 months , question has difficult but you will pass if you read.
Internships Opportunities :
After our 7th semester, RAWE programme happens that is a 3 month long internship programme.students are divided in several groups and have to collect data from farmers through village survey. Stripend is Rs 6000/month
Placement Experience :
The placement cell is moderate to strong. Placements/job opportunities on renound fertilizer company and private banking sector is always open.Students eligible for campus placement only after course completion. But very few students opt for it and it is very less in terms of package.my plan is higher studues after getting degree.Package is around 4-6 Lahks per annum
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Semester fees is included all charges 12650/- in year it was 50600/- rupee....we get SVMCM Scholarship amount of 60,000/- per year , it's a govt. University but the fees is comparatively more...than other govt Universities.
Campus Life :
The college has great infrastructure having canteen ,library ,flower garden,book store,indoor stadium ,auditorium, washroom and a huge playground.There are hostels available both for girls and boys. Every year the college conducts different social activities and programs. The fest usually occurs during the month of March -April. More than 10k books are available in the library.Journals are also available. There are smart classrooms available where teachers conduct the classes and also show PowerPoint presentations of various topics which help the students in his/her studies. Sports and extra curricular activities also takes place.Every year the college conducts their annual sports meet where the students can show their skills and prizes are given to the winners to appreciate their performance. Dance club,drama club,recitation club,art club,etc are also their for the students.
Hostel Facilities :
There is sufficient room in the hostel for students.In each room easily three students can acomodate.In the mess the quality is also good.There were different types of menu in each day.Registration process for hostel is easy.Those who wants to take hostel have to inform the university office first and the hostel is affordable for the students.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
