- The faculty teachers are too much friendly & highly educated. We are comfortable with them. Our campus is very natural & clean.
- There are held so many cultural programs like viswakarma puja, saraswati puja, college social in a year. We are enjoyed this programme very much.
Remarks :
Our addmission is done by WBJEE entrance. There are 30 seats in 2023 in our faculty and nowadays the seat numbers are increasing to 40. There are medium type of cut off we face in our councelling. Category students are get good advantage for their addmission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because of my interest in agriculture subject. The faculties teachers are very educated and also P.hd. Their teaching skills is so good and understanding. There are 2 exams in a sem one is mid term(30)& another is end term (50).
Placement Experience :
There are held a programme uttaran , there are come many companies and offered us job after completing the B.tech agricultural engineering. This are very helpful for many students. My plan after getting the degree I choose a job from placement cell.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure of our course is 12500/- in per semester. So totally 25000/- we pay for our course. The Swami Vivekananda Scholarship is provided us from govt of west bengal. The ammount of this scholarship is 60000/-. The tuition fees is same for all students no criteria for category students. Dayscholars students paid 12500/- per sem and hosteler students paid 13100/- per sem.
Campus Life :
There are held one or two fest in a year in our university. Then our university brings many celebrity singers of India. There are present a Central Library in our university. There are available so many books in our library for our different courses.
Hostel Facilities :
I am a dayscholar student. So I can't explain the hostel details clearly. But according to my friends the food quality of hostel is good and the rooms are also good and clean apperance. There are a girls hostel Teesta Hall is present here.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
