There are to much exams...I mean in every sem we have minimum 9 sub and hv to give the mid term end term and viva also...so ut is too much. The curriculum should be changed immediately because that are very bad

It's very regretful that there is no such importance or opportunities related to horticulure students even the country like India who is known as country of agriculture . It's very shameful that vegetables and fruits are essential for our health but there is no scope for those people who studied horticulure .

This is a 4 year degree couse. I want to study in fruit vegetables and flower so that i chosse horticulture. There are three exam per semester one is mid term and one is end term exam and the last is practical exam

The faculty teaching method is good... every classroom has a smart tv, exams are done very frequently and there is little time to prepare. In one semester there is a midterm and endterm and practical exams. All scholarships are available.

Agriculture is the backbone of the nation, in this course, there are a lot of opportunities to get a job other than any other course. All the teachers at our university are PhD holders, They are good but the lack of infrastructure makes them bored. Exams are conducted semester-wise, there are two semesters in a year total of eight semesters. In one semester there are mid-semester, end-semester sem, and practical exams. The duration of one semester is six months. During my admission semester fees were 4975 per month but now it is above 10000, so day-by-day fees are increasing, it is for UG students. For PG and PhD students it varies. Students may apply for scholarship based on their Hs marks either state government scholarship central government scholarship or private scholarship. States like SVMCM are popular.

I chose this course because I wanted to know about our Indian Agriculture system. There is three facilities. Those are Agriculture, Horticulture and Agricultural Engineering. There is 2 semester in a year. Each sem has mid term, end term and practical viva exams. There are many scholarships available for students like svmcm, post matric and also non govt scholarships are available.

4 Departments available in the faculty of Agricultural Engineering. Farm Machinery and power engineering, Soil and water conservation Engineering, Food Engineering and Post Harvest Engineering. The exams held within every three months.

I chose this course because the basic economy of our country is based on agriculture and I really wanted to contribute in mankind in whatever ways possible. The faculties are very good and teachers are very professional and attentive and very helpful. Exams are held semester wise.. There are 8 semesters... And 2 semesters are held every year. This is a 4 years degree. For each semester the fees needed is 6775 approx. Students can avail Vivekananda Scholarship based on the criteria of their family income.

I chose this course due to the opportunities and scope related with this course. Many government and private sectors are present where high paying jobs are available. The faculty and teaching methods are very good. Semester exams occur every 6 months with mid term, end term & practical exam.

So basically I chose this course because of the future prospects in horticulture India as well as worldwide. There are plethora of options and subjects to study for and each and every is enriched with knowledge. The faculty is quite good and puts in great effort to teach the students. Most of the teachers are student friendly. Labs are great. There are a total of eight semester with six of them are basically written and practical exam in each semesters and the last two are just only for experiential and practical purpose. The difficulty level of the courses are moderate.
