- Huge library, great college fest, great facilities and all kind of practical equipments are there
- Farm is inside the campus, practical which is farm based , occurs in there. Students get their own field for practical job.
Dislikes
- Lack of classroom, there are not mentioned classroom for specific classes students.
- Practical rooms are very small, university campus is god but lack of hygiene.
Remarks :
The admission process takes place in two ways either through HSC marks or the ICAR UG exam conducted by NTA. There are no group discussions or admission interviews. Students Above 90 percent marks in Hs may get a chance to be admitted to college. However, students above 75 percent marks in Hs may apply to college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Agriculture is the backbone of the nation, in this course, there are a lot of opportunities to get a job other than any other course. All the teachers at our university are PhD holders, They are good but the lack of infrastructure makes them bored. Exams are conducted semester-wise, there are two semesters in a year total of eight semesters. In one semester there are mid-semester, end-semester sem, and practical exams. The duration of one semester is six months. During my admission semester fees were 4975 per month but now it is above 10000, so day-by-day fees are increasing, it is for UG students. For PG and PhD students it varies. Students may apply for scholarship based on their Hs marks either state government scholarship central government scholarship or private scholarship. States like SVMCM are popular.
Internships Opportunities :
No, the university doesn't provide any internships, students can take internships on their own needs but for that University doesn't provide any help. For agriculture, there are a lot of internships provided by many universities but students can get on their own. If students may provide an application for this, maybe be administration make up his attendance.
Placement Experience :
There are no placements, but after completing the course students may appear in various exams like AFO, NABARD, or IBPS And others, students can continue their higher education so that they can sit in the ICAR PG exam.
Campus Life :
You will not regret campus life. It is so good. We have a fest like Nairit which is conducted every year during winter( mostly), Beside this we have Nabarun ( freshers welcome party) and more. We have a huge library, and all kinds of books are available. Students may buy books at half price from book stores or may read in the library. But the problem is that student can take a book by showing their library card max for 15 days after that charges are applied. The university promotes all kinds of sports and extra curricular activities, inter-college competitions, which are happening every year. Students who get admission to sports quota, have a lot of opportunities here. I am a day scholar student so I can't tell you much about hostel life. Outside the campus, there are a lot of rented rooms, and prices ar in between 3k-5k per month.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
