- The environment is very healthy , food quality is very healthy
- The teacher are very friendly , the Play ground are very clean and big
Dislikes
- Electric facility are very poor , and the health centre is not satisfactory
- The road conditions is not well in monsoon we are facing various problems
- The health centre is a burning issue now days
Remarks :
No doubt this is the no. 1 agricultural collage in west bengal. Many students are came here from outside of the state for study , admission is based on HS no of four subjects but there is also ICAR exam for getting admission in this collage , reservation facilities are also there but the communication facility is Ave.
Course Curriculum Overview :
For better job opportunities agriculture is a good scope it is showing good way in human benifits as a student I am very happy to get into this course and hope to serve for the people of our country . The teacher teach us very friendly way . They are all time standing for us . Term exam are conducted properly , and the level is very satisfactory . Cost of study is not so much high , and there are also various scholarships given by the university to both the poor and meritorious students
Placement Experience :
There is a huge scope in future if you are a agriculture student , because of having a government university like B.C.K.V I think we will get various opportunities in future and campus placement is also held in every year , the package is very good 30000-40000 . Recent few year many students get some prestigious job
Campus Life :
Campus Life is very healthy and soothing , the environment of the campus is very fresh , and energetic. There are a big library provided by the university where we get any type of books for our study. Every year the university organised inter year sports , agri mate all the students are participating in this and enjoyed it . The hostel are very clean and the room are average and hygiene is maintained every day food quality is very healthy hostel admission fees is very less and affordable

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
