SIU UG Admission 2026

SIU offers UG admission through SET, SITEEE, JEE Main, SLAT, and NEET UG, depending on the course. BBA, BA, B.Sc, BCA, B.Des, and related courses use SET. B.Tech at Symbiosis Institute of Technology Pune uses SITEEE or JEE Main. Integrated law courses use SLAT, while MBBS at Symbiosis Medical College for Women uses NEET UG and MCC counselling.

SIU B.Tech Admission 2026

B.Tech admission at SIT Pune is based on SITEEE or JEE Main. SET is not accepted for engineering. The available branches include CSE, AI-ML, Electronics, Civil, Mechanical, and Robotics.

SIU B.Tech Selection Criteria 2026

SIT Pune prepares the B.Tech merit list using SITEEE or JEE Main scores. There is no interview for B.Tech admission. Students who take both SITEEE test dates are considered through the higher score.

1. Register on set-test.org for SITEEE and pay INR 2,250, or apply with a valid JEE Main score.
2. Pay INR 1,000 to register for the B.Tech programme at SIT Pune.
3. Check the merit list on set-test.org after results are released.

SIU Law Admission 2026

SIU accepts SLAT for 5-year integrated law programmes. The test is used by Symbiosis Law Schools in Pune, Noida, Hyderabad, and Nagpur. The law options include BA LLB, BBA LLB, and B.Com LLB.

SIU Law Selection Criteria 2026

SLAT is a 1-hour computer-based test. It checks legal aptitude, reasoning, and verbal ability. Students shortlisted through SLAT attend a Personal Interview at the selected law school.

• The written SLAT score carries 70% weightage, and the Personal Interview carries 30% weightage.
• The top 3 students in the first SLAT merit list get a 50% scholarship on academic fees. Ranks 6 to 8 get a 25% scholarship.

How to Apply for Law at SIU?

1. Register on slat-test.org and pay INR 2,250.
2. Register separately for each preferred Symbiosis Law School by paying INR 1,000 per school.
3. Appear for SLAT on one or both test dates. The higher score is used.
4. Attend the Personal Interview at the law school that shortlists you.
5. Confirm admission after receiving the offer letter.

SIU Other UG Admission 2026

For BBA, BA, B.Sc, BCA, B.Des, and related UG courses, SIU uses the Symbiosis Entrance Test. Each institute prepares its own merit list after SET and may also look at previous academic performance and gender diversity. Students must register for each institute programme separately to be considered.

SET score is the main factor for UG merit lists at Symbiosis institutes. Students who appear on both SET test dates are considered through the higher score. A student must pay INR 1,000 for each institute programme to be included in that programme's merit process.

SIU MBBS Admission 2026

Symbiosis Medical College for Women, Pune offers MBBS through NEET UG. As it is a deemed medical college, MCC conducts counselling for all seats. Students must follow the MCC schedule and seat matrix for admission.

SIU PG Admission 2026

SIU MBA admission is based on SNAP, the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test. The test is required for all 29 MBA programmes at 17 Symbiosis institutes, including SIBM Pune, SCMHRD, SIIB Pune, and SIOM Nashik. SNAP 2026 is used for admission to the 2027-29 MBA batch.

Each institute shortlists students through SNAP percentile. Shortlisted students then attend Group Exercise, Written Ability Test, and Personal Interview at that institute. The final offer depends on SNAP performance and GE-PIWAT performance together.

• SNAP allows 3 attempts in one cycle. The best percentile is used. One SNAP registration works for the 29 MBA programmes offered across 17 institutes.
• SIBM Pune and SCMHRD are highly competitive. Each institute fixes its own SNAP percentile cutoff.

How to Apply for MBA at SIU?

1. Register on snaptest.org and pay INR 2,250 for each SNAP attempt.
2. Pay INR 1,000 separately for every Symbiosis institute programme selected.
3. Take SNAP on up to 3 test dates. The best score is considered.
4. Attend GE-PIWAT at the institutes that shortlist you.
5. Accept the offer and pay the institute fee to confirm SIU admission.

Note: SNAP exam registration and institute programme registration are separate payments on snaptest.org. Paying only the SNAP fee does not register a student for any Symbiosis institute programme.

SIU Scholarships

SIU gives merit-based scholarships at university and programme level. In every UG and PG programme, the top 4 students per semester per batch receive merit scholarships. Law scholarships are linked directly to SLAT merit list rank.
