SIU Law Selection Criteria 2026

SLAT is a 1-hour computer-based test. It checks legal aptitude, reasoning, and verbal ability. After the test, shortlisted students appear for a Personal Interview at the chosen law school.

  • Written Test (SLAT): 70% weightage. Personal Interview (PI): 30% weightage.
  • The top 3 candidates in the first SLAT merit list receive a 50% scholarship on academic fees. Ranks 6 to 8 receive a 25% scholarship.
