I personally really enjoy their teaching method and it really focuses on practical knowledge rather than just books and lectures, we are given real life projects to be completed in 1 month. Thankfully it is a "college" college and not a school where teachers rule the college. Most of them are visiting faculty and students still manage to maintain the decorum and pull off all the events on their own. Talking about the education of the teaching faculty, it's pretty good, few teachers are highly qualified and provide us real life values. Gratefully we are not really thought through books but with live example lectures and ppts to prevent cramming and promote understanding of the concept amongst the students.

The teachers are very sweet and always help. You hav a loy of assignments and activities along with 2 internal exams ( marks of the best performed exam are counted as it is best of two) and also an external exam at the term end for higher credit courses.

Course curriculum is relatively practical and more industry oriented than other BBA courses, academics is also great except that the grading part is of high disadvantage to students when comparing from students outside the same course as the grading is a relative but at the same time has an upper cap as even batch toppers don't get above 9.2-9.3 GPA out of 10. Top faculties are from Marketing and HR domain and have PhDs from well sought universities and also an additional good corporate experience.

The faculty is a mix bag some of them are very helpful, the curriculum is relaxed and is coverable if any one focuses on the studies, the students are also welcoming and faculty also understands the need for extracurricular activities

I have mixed opinion in terms of faculty and curriculum. Certain curriculum seems obsolete whether other is industry friendly. Also faculty some are great whether some are pathetic with all due respect.

The course curriculum is that in 1st year (1 - 2 semesters) You have to study all the specializations and then from 2nd year, you choose/opt a specialization of your choice. you can choose : General BBA, SIngle Specialization and Dual Specialization. In every subject throughout the BBA programme there are 2 class tests, 1 Experiential Project, 1 MCQ test for Internals. Sometimes the assignments and projects assigned are unnecessary and irrelevant in real life cases but sometimes they projects are really helpful in many aspects. The faculty is helpful and supportive but only if yo are in their good books otherwise some faculties dishearten you if you don't score well or are late to class.

SCMS, as I said earlier is one of the most reputed and established private colleges in the country, so that eased my choice of opting for my college. The faculty was more than adequately qualified for the level of teaching needed for the course. The methods were practical, unique, and quite impactful. The exams were conducted at the near end of every semester, with periodic tests, project submissions, etc. The exams and tests were moderately difficult, nothing some self-study cannot overcome.

I chose this course because I wish to pursue a CFA and having a BBA as my base, especially from Symbiosis University gives me an advantage. I opted for Finance&Accounting and Marketing Management as my specialisations which Symbiosis offers unlike other universities, similar to an international curriculum. The faculty did cover topics and practical fields which I could relate to during my internship. Exams were professionally conducted and enough time was given for preparation with a competitive but manageable difficulty level. There were no changes in costs and fees, the books could easily be issued from the library and there was a variety for every need from college exams, research papers, MBA entrance exams and even CFA. There are scholarships available for International Students-they have to write essays. (procedure can be directly asked from the respective department. Financial Assistance is also available depending on the category.

I chose this particular course since I was interested in business and plan to do an MBA for my post graduation. The faculty here is quite experienced in their respective fields, albeit some are kind of lazy. Their teaching methods provide hands-on experience and the assignments are interesting as well. The term exams can be difficult but if you have paid attention in class, they won't seem so. There are 2 semesters per year, the first sem lasts from July to November while the second sem is from December to April. The fees is quite high for a BBA degree but I believe the social life here kind of makes up for that.
