JNVU BE Admission 2024

JNVU offers a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) under various specialisations. The duration of this course is 4 years. The basic eligibility for getting admission into this course is to be 10+2 qualified. Selection will be done on the basis of an entrance examination. The various specialisations are as follows:

Eligibility Criteria

The Eligibility Criteria for Various courses are as follows:

  • Arts: 45% marks in the aggregate at the qualifying examination. In the case of IES, 40% marks in the aggregate at the qualifying examination.
  • Commerce: 45% marks in the aggregate at the qualifying examination. In the case of IES, 40% marks in the aggregate at the qualifying examination.
  • BBA: 50% marks in the aggregate at the qualifying examination
  • B.SC/ B.Sc Home Science/BCA: 48% marks in the aggregate at the qualifying examination
  • B.A Hons/B.Com Hons: 48% marks in the aggregate and 50% marks in the elective subject in which the student is admitted for Hons.
  • LLB: A candidate who after taking the Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce/Medicine/Social Sciences/Engineering/Agriculture in any University and secured at least 45% per cent marks in aggregate shall be eligible.

  • Admission to all UG Courses shall be made on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination, subject to the availability of seats and fulfilment of the conditions laid down by the University from time to time.

Eligibility Criteria

The Eligibility Criteria for Various courses are as follows

  • For admission to M.A, 45% marks in the aggregate at the qualifying Bachelor’s Degree with or without the subjects offered for PG Admission or 55% marks in the subject offered. (B.A/B.Com/B.Sc/B.E/MBBS for the purpose of Admission to M.A Class
  • For Admission to M.A in Music and Fine arts and painting the candidate shall be required to have a qualified B.A with Music/Fine Arts and Painting as one of the optional subjects OR B.A (without Music/Fine Arts and Painting) with an admission test.
  • For Admission to M.A in Mathematics and or Statistics, the candidate shall be required to have a qualified B.A with Mathematics and or Statistics as one of the optional subjects. The statistics subject can be opted only along with Mathematics and any other third subject preferably Economics, Physics and Computer Science.
  • For admission to M.Com/MCA candidates must have secured 45% marks in the aggregate at the qualifying Bachelor’s degree. (B.Com/BBA/BA with Economics with at least 55% marks in aggregate for the purpose of admission to M.Com Class, but in case of admission to M.Com (Accounting), B. A or B.Sc even with Economics will not be eligible).
  • For admission to M.Sc, candidates must have secured 48% marks in the aggregate in the qualifying Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc in the subject concerned).
  • For admission to LLM, the candidate must have passed the Bachelor of Laws Examination of this University or an examination of some other University recognized by the University as equivalent thereto shall be permitted.

Selection Criteria

  • Admission to the Postgraduate classes in all Faculties shall be made on the basis of merit in the last qualifying examination.
  • Merit shall include the total marks obtained by a candidate in all three years in the subject in which admission is sought.
  • Admission to LLM shall be through an entrance test conducted by the Faculty of Law.
  • Admission into MPE at JNVU is done on the basis of the Physical Fitness Test.
  • There will be centralised admission for PG Courses in the faculty of Science in all subjects M.Sc (COSIST). Botany, M.Sc under SAP Chemistry, M.Sc Geology, Home Science, Physics, Mathematics & Statistics and Zoology. The spot admission shall be on the Scheduled central counselling date.

JNVU MBA Admission 2024

JNVU offers MBA, and Executive MBA in the field of Management. The duration of an MBA is 2 years whereas for an MBA executive it is 15-18 months.
