MBM Engineering College (Mugneeram Bangur Memorial Engineering College) is a pioneering technical institute established in 1951 by the Government of Rajasthan. The institute is affiliated with Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur, and is approved by both UGC and AICTE. In 2021, it was upgraded to a state university by the Government of Rajasthan. MBM Engineering College offers a wide range of undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs, including BE, BArch, ME, and MCA, making it a significant hub for technical education in the region.

MBM offers BTech as its flagship program. To be eligible, candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or Technical Vocational subjects, securing at least 45% marks (or 40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates). Admission is based on JEE Mains scores, followed by REAP Counseling. The REAP 2022 cutoff for BTech Artificial Intelligence was 1632, and for BTech Civil Engineering, it was 4402. The total course fee for the BTech program is INR 1.77 lakhs.

MBM Placements 2024 showcased strong performance, with 356 students placed. The highest package offered was INR 20.71 LPA, while the average package stood at INR 7.63 LPA for BTech Petroleum Engineering and INR 6.55 LPA for BTech Computer Science. Prominent recruiters included HLS Asia, Alstom, Minimalist, Adani Group, Suzlon, Shree Cement, DeltaX, SmartED, and Bharat Electronics Limited.
