I Applied For Geo-Informatics but got a mechanical Course, Most of the teaching staff are Ass. Professors in the Mechanical Dept. are not good teachers. Lacking in many aspects such as Practical Laboratories and Environment. Most classrooms are in bad condition and look like they may fall anytime soon. The HOD Dr. S. Rajakumar Keeps Grudges and Keeps pushing silly Rules. Fees are Low as we only pay Rs 15000 /- per Semester. However, the AU Main Campus has increased the exam fee to 150 per subject. There are no proper Computer facilities to learn AutoCAD and CREO. Even the CREO version they are using is Older V.3. Most teachers don't even come to classes regularly and expect students to know everything.

Course is designed for specialization in remote sensing, in short the course is for students who really wants to make a career as a Geoinformatics professional. Talking about faculty in this campus there won't be a any faculty with proper Geoinformatics background. In my college days I used to study by myself because the staffs haven't even complete the syllabus also since they are not clear in this domain it will be difficult for students to grasp the concepts, But there are some faculties who will help you to get better.

After completion of my school studies then I considered B.E courses. This is 4 years of studies and If we select CSE course then I will go to a job for any kind of government or non government organization ,only the reason of to select this course. The teaching method is completely very well and they provide some materials for our syllabus wise .There are 6 internal exams and 2 semester per year which is best of our notes and materials. So the term exams are very easily to pass.
