For B.Tech admission 2026, BBDU uses JEE Main scores. The university does not hold a separate engineering entrance test. Students are shortlisted from the JEE Main merit list and then called to the Lucknow campus for counselling.

BBDU BDS admission 2026 is based only on NEET UG. Babu Banarasi Das College of Dental Sciences, which is part of the BBDU group, does not conduct a separate dental entrance exam.

BBD University PhD Admission 2026

BBDU PhD admission is through DPAT, also called the BBD PhD Aptitude Test. The application fee for PhD admission through DPAT is INR 2,000, and students apply through dpat.bbdu.ac.in.

The 2026-27 odd semester DPAT schedule included the application deadline on July 24, 2026, written test on August 4, 2026, interviews on August 8, 2026, and result declaration on August 14, 2026. Students with UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, GATE, JRF, or SLET are exempt from the written test and are called directly for interview.

BBD University Scholarships 2026

BBDU provides tuition fee waivers on the basis of 10+2 marks, JEE Main rank, government category rules, and PhD enrolment. Scholarship support includes merit-based UG and PG waivers, engineering rank waivers, government-funded category scholarships, and a research fellowship for PhD students.

BBDU permits only one scholarship type per student in one academic session. To continue a merit scholarship from year 2 onward, a student must keep a top-rank position in class and maintain at least 75% attendance.
