MJPRU UG Admission 2026

MJPRU offers UG admission through different routes. BA, BSc and BCom are based mainly on Class 12 merit. B.Tech admission uses JEE Main rank and MJPRU counselling. BCA, BBA, BMS and BPharm may consider merit or CUET UG score. B.Ed admission is handled through UP B.Ed JEE, while LLB requires the MJPRU law entrance exam.

B.Tech admission is rank-based. MJPRU allots branches through counselling after checking JEE Main rank, category and branch preference. Diploma holders can apply for B.Tech lateral entry for direct second-year admission.

• The seat acceptance fee is INR 20,000 for General, OBC and EWS candidates.
• SC/ST candidates pay a seat acceptance fee of INR 12,000.
• After allotment, candidates choose Freeze, Float or Withdrawal.
• Final admission needs physical reporting with original documents.

MJPRU BA, BSc and BCom Admission Process

For BA, BSc and BCom, MJPRU prepares course-wise merit lists from Class 12 marks. These courses do not need a separate entrance exam.

• Applicants fill the Samarth form and enter Class 12 marks.
• MJPRU releases programme-wise merit lists on the official portal.
• Selected students attend document verification at the campus or allotted college.
• The seat is confirmed after fee payment.

MJPRU B.Ed Admission Process

B.Ed admission at MJPRU is through UP B.Ed JEE. Bundelkhand University, Jhansi conducts the exam and centralised counselling for participating universities in Uttar Pradesh. MJPRU does not hold a separate B.Ed entrance exam.

Note: MJPRU B.Ed has 100 seats. UP B.Ed JEE 2026 had two papers covering general knowledge, language proficiency and subject-specific content.

• Selection depends fully on UP B.Ed JEE rank.
• Bundelkhand University, Jhansi conducts centralised counselling for all UP universities.
• Candidates enter college and programme choices during the choice-filling period.

MJPRU LLB Admission Process

LLB admission is based only on the MJPRU entrance test. CLAT and AILET scores are not accepted, so every LLB applicant must take the university-specific law entrance exam.

• The MJPRU LLB entrance exam is offline and lasts 90 minutes.
• The paper has 100 MCQs.
• The syllabus includes General English, General Hindi and GK with Legal Awareness.
• The LLB application fee is INR 950.
• The total LLB fee is INR 1.20 Lakhs for the 3-year course.
• Counselling is held as per the merit list prepared from entrance exam scores.

• Apply through the MJPRU Samarth portal at mjpruadm.samarth.edu.in.

MJPRU PG Admission 2026

MJPRU PG admission includes MBA, MA, MCom, MSc, MCA and LLM. MBA and MCA admission may use CUET PG. MA, MCom and MSc admission is based on graduation marks. LLM admission is through the MJPRU LLM entrance exam.

MBA admission uses CUET PG score first, followed by group discussion and personal interview. MCA admission depends on CUET PG score. MA, MCom and MSc selection is based on marks in the relevant graduation subject.

MJPRU LLM Admission Process

LLM admission is conducted through a separate MJPRU entrance exam. CLAT and AILET scores are not accepted for LLM admission. No group discussion or personal interview is needed for LLB or LLM.

• Enter academic details and upload the required documents.
• Pay the programme or exam fee online, wherever applicable.

MJPRU PhD Admission 2026

MJPRU PhD admission is open to students who hold a master's degree with the required marks. The university uses RET and interview for selection. NET, JRF and GATE qualified candidates are exempt from RET.

Students without NET, JRF or GATE must take RET before the interview. Students who already hold NET, JRF or GATE qualification move directly to the interview stage as per the stated exemption.

MJPRU Diploma, Distance and Online Admission 2026

MJPRU offers Diploma in Engineering admission along with distance and online courses through its Centre for Distance and Online Education. Diploma in Engineering is selected through merit-based MJPRU counselling. Distance and online education follows a separate admission process.

MJPRU Scholarships 2026

MJPRU students can apply for several scholarship schemes. Applications for these schemes are submitted through the National Scholarship Portal at scholarships.gov.in.

• UP Post-Matric Scholarship: This is for Uttar Pradesh domicile students from SC/ST, OBC, General and Minority categories. Family income must be below INR 2 Lakhs. It covers tuition fees and maintenance allowance.
• Central Sector Scheme: Students who score above the 80th percentile in Class 12 and have family income below INR 8 Lakhs can apply. The award is INR 10,000 to INR 20,000 per year.
• Merit Cum Means Scholarship (Minorities): Minority students with 50% marks and family income below INR 2.50 Lakhs can apply. It covers course fee and maintenance allowance.
• Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child: This is for an only daughter below 30 who is enrolled in a master's programme. The award is INR 36,200 per year for 2 years.
• PG Merit Scholarship for University Rank Holders: Students with first or second rank at graduation and age below 30 can apply. The award is INR 3,100 per month for 2 years.
