Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth review

What I Liked

The affordability is the key factor for which I choose this college.
It also provide very decent amount of scholarship.

What I didn’t like

The infrastructure like classrooms and libraries aren't upto the mark.
The placement opportunities are literally zero.

Placement Experience:

There is no placement opportunities from here and a individual should not expect also, it is an state government college. After completing the course someone can apply for pg courses in better college or something else like business.

Remarks:

I choose this college because it was way affordable than the others and I didn't get selected from any other government colleges. Addmission process was quite simple my College conduct its own entrance examination just participate in it and wait for the result, then sit through councling and you will get your favourite faculty. Only those students should consider this college who are preparing for government jobs or any other Examination.

This is best girls college for bca in varanasi.

What I Liked

We celebrate cultural event like Dandiya annual function and so on. We have good computer labs, library.
Multiple sport event and good player can play upto state and national level on behalf of your college

What I didn’t like

Negative attitude.. the fees counter ma'am have bad tone of talking.
Poor intership and placement for bca stream

Placement Experience:

Very less placements and interships availablity... One have to take their own responsibility for better future and look out towards best jobs offered by company . Teacher sometimes refers to upcoming job availability.

Remarks:

There is little easy written test or entrance test with few 15-20 basic questions. There is very easy discussion with pooja ma'am ( Head of computer department ) . You can easily get this college

What I Liked

The infrastructure and faculty of my college is very good
The campus life is very good you have a power to move anywhere

What I didn’t like

The behaviour of staff members are not good
Also the faculty structure are old model

Placement Experience:

Eligibility criteria for my placement have to highly qualified in your course and you are skilled person The highest package offered by company in our profile is 75 lakhs per year Minimum package offered by company is near about 5 to 7 lakhs per year Average age of my course offered is around 8 to 10 lacs per year. Near about 75% of student getting placements here My my plans after getting the degree is persuing father knowledge or side work.

Remarks:

The good aspects of my college is about the teachers about the course about the infrastructure and about the classroom are very good.. The admission in my college is nearly about entrance based and cut off based Yes I have to prepare for these rounds.

Pros and cons about my college

What I Liked

Everything is good….the main thing is the students who come from state board….they are very lucky because we all are taught in hindi
Everything is good ….as the students are given different projects to make their skill more efficient and sharp….by this student’s point of view towards every single things changes….they start thinking same thing in 10 different ways…this is the best thing I noticed in this college

What I didn’t like

As it is government collage every teacher talks in hindi….i am student of cisce i face problems in their shuddh hindi bhasha
Campus is not pretty good as the area is very less so its likely conjusted for everyone and the food of mess is not very tasty its kinda feels like its only for filling our empty stomach…..not a good thing for students

Placement Experience:

Not much opportunities are their……but people who wish to do their own business after pursuing the degree can take admission in this college and make their future by themselves…….this is my personal choice by the way….

Remarks:

The main factor is that it is my own city….and its government collage…and is very good in everything and its very convenient for me to reach their as my college is in my same city i can also run here and their for my business related work

Average experience of a quiet student

What I Liked

It was quiet and green, the gardens are pretty.
There were no ragging, seniors were helpful

What I didn’t like

Infrastructure was bad of science faculty,washrooms were unusable.
The Computer software systems are very old .
They should start arranging fests or programs for social life of students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course includes subjects Maths,Statistics and Computer. That time Statistics was underrated but I was advised to take this as it'll broaden my scope and Computer is all time needed wherever you go. Overall teachers were good, some teachers only tend to read slideshows though. Exams happened on yearly basis, and it was doable if studied properly.

Remarks:

The university was near my place, and during covid it was easier to commute. Entrance exams happened for each course like science, commerce and arts. After clearing the cutoff abs going through admission process like submitting documents, I got in.

OVERVIEW OF MGKVP

What I Liked

There is a hall in the tourism department which is very huge and beautiful The convocation is held there There is a big playground in our college Students play basketball football and cricket in there There is also a beautiful garden in which you can enjoy with your friends
The library is good for students. You can borrow any book you want in minimal fees.

What I didn’t like

The buildings are very old. They need some renovation
The cleanliness in the college faculty is very much big issue

Placement Experience:

I don't have any idea about the placements. The average package of B.com is 2-4 lpa as I have heard of. My plan after getting the degree is to pursue M.COM from any central university. Hope I should get a job from the placements

Remarks:

You have to give an entrance exam for admission in this college in any particular course. The exam pattern is MCQ based. There will be 100 questions and 1 question is of 4 marks. There is no negative marking. The cutoff is almost 270-320. Your 12th class marks also plays a crucial role for admission

What I Liked

It was having a good environment of nature and academic environment too.
Faculties and facilities both were good here.

What I didn’t like

Infrastructure was not so good as the building was not much renovated.
Some of the faculties member were not cooperative but most of them were cooperative.

Placement Experience:

Restaurant job opportunities were like in campus selections by the companies like Mahindra genesis and TCS for the role of inter and other development posts. It was all done by the group discussions and personal interview for the selection of students.

Remarks:

Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth is one of the most repeated college of Varanasi region it have best affiliated colleges and have best academy growth criteria and environment so for these interest I have chosen this for admission.

Right choice of college for BA[political science]

What I Liked

i like the campus premises which is eco-friendly and peaceful environment
campus life is better than other you will not face any ragging or discrimination.

What I didn’t like

i disliked the placement of the student who are graduated from this university
classes also do not run well and crowd is too much

Placement Experience:

there are little less chances of getting placed in any popular company. if you are seeking for campus placement from this university, then i will not recommend this to anyone to take admission in this university.

Remarks:

i have choosen this college on the basis of locality as it is near to my home and also it is the one of the best university in the state. it is easy to take admission in this college after clearing entrance exam. cut off marks for BA is not that much higher. an average student belonging to any stream can easily crack.

What I Liked

I like in my campus was my college library.
I like in my college is my class room it is best.

I dislike in my college it is a my zoology teacher behaviour.
I dislike in my college is my college uniform.

It is my first year so this time they don't any internship i think they give me in last year or not i have no idea. But this time i want the part time job for my hostel rent and i want financially independent.

Remarks:

It is the best university in varanasi. I want to study with this university so i apply cuet exam and select this university and i crack cuet exam and entrance exam so i study in this university there entrance exam very tough because lots of people give a entrance exam.

My Journey Through College: A Rollercoaster of My Experiences

What I Liked

Facilities and infrastructure of our college are good. There are so many books available related to our courses in our library. Wi-Fi connection is stable in computer labs, all computers are updated and in working condition. classrooms are maintained and have projectors. The food served in the hostels is good. We get a variety of dishes every day. Non vegetarian food is not allowed.
There are Basketball, football, tennis, badminton, cricket, handball and hockey courts.

What I didn’t like

Semester results got delayed most of the time, practical examinations held after a long gap of semester examinations most of the time, minor subjects marks are not accurate of most of the students. We have to pay 500 INR for re evaluation of obtained marks of each subjects. Librarian issues old edition of damaged books most of the time
If we missed any of our practical examination due to any emergency we have to pay 2000 INR for re examination of each practical examination. minor subjects examinations are not held with semester examinations. Political Campaigning disturbs our classes during elections. Only Professional courses have Uniforms in our University.

Placement Experience:

As I have joined this course in 2022 so don't have much idea regarding placement but as per the sources it's quite well. The placements approach from wide range of locations thus providing the students with more options and good exposure.

Remarks:

The curriculum is well balanced and updated with the current needs and requirements regarding the job profile, the quality of teaching is way more good as i think about this college, campus is environment friendly with different kinds of greenery all around, admission is on the basis of University entrance test cutoff marks and merits according to their reservation.
