UG admission at Kristu Jayanti University is based on Class 12 marks. Students from any recognised board can apply for BBA, BCA, BCom, BSc and BA courses, and no entrance exam is needed. Some specialisations may ask for specific subjects at the 10+2 level.

Kristu Jayanti University UG Selection Criteria 2026

Selection for UG and integrated Law courses depends on qualifying exam marks. CUET-UG is not required for UG admission, and CLAT is not required or accepted for the integrated LLB courses. Seats are offered on a rolling merit basis until they are filled.

BBA, BCA, BCom, BSc and BA admission is based on Class 12 aggregate marks.
BA LLB, BBA LLB and BCom LLB admission is also based on Class 12 aggregate marks.
The university does not conduct a separate entrance test for UG or integrated Law courses.

Kristu Jayanti University PG Selection Criteria 2026

LLM selection is based on LLB marks. MCA, MCom, MSc, MA and MSW selection is based on graduation marks. MBA selection is handled by Kristu Jayanti Institute of Management through a three-stage process.

Stage 1: KJIM screens the CAT, MAT or CMAT score along with graduation marks.
Stage 2: Shortlisted applicants take the KJIM online aptitude test.
Stage 3: Applicants attend a personal interview with the KJIM faculty panel.
Final MBA admission depends on combined performance in all 3 stages.

Key Insight: KJIM accepts CAT, MAT and CMAT. Students with a moderate CAT score can still apply because the institute also checks its own aptitude test and personal interview. Basic quantitative aptitude and verbal reasoning preparation is useful before the KJIM test.

How to Apply for PG and MBA Courses at Kristu Jayanti University?

What I Liked

Good campus with lot of trees which is really nice to look at. There are around 3 canteens and a food court
Great infrastructure. Classrooms have good desks and chairs.

Very focused on marks rather than making students understand

There was an online interview before joining and it was pretty much it. It is one of the top colleges for Bcom in Bangalore and that was my reason to choose it. The cut of us very less compared to other colleges. When I joined it was around 75% but now it might be uped it 80%

What I Liked

I like the green campus of the college. The environment is very clean and green filled with trees, shrubs and the beautiful flowers. The college is recognized by NACC and marked A++.
We have big libraries there are 3 libraries in our college where we can access to numerous books and journals from that library for our examination and the assignments.
We also have big turf and courts for the sports like football, basketball, badminton, volleyball and every year we have intercollegiate tournaments held for different sports.

What I didn’t like

Boys are not allowed to have long hair, long beard or mustache, colored hair, they are not allowed to wear joggers, cargo, ripped jeans. They have to be well groomed clean shaved and follow Jayantian code of conduct.
Girls are not allowed to have colored hair, they are not allowed to wear, crop tops , skirts, ripped jeans, joggers they should be well groomed neat and clean and follow code of conduct.
We have to maintain 75% attendance every semester if we don’t maintain we have to face the consequences. Some students didn’t get to write their exam and some of them were not promoted.

Remarks:

I chose this college because it’s very strict and disciplined. It is near my place. It is known for green and clean campus. The environment is good and clean. During the admission we do have interview and some courses also have test only after that the students can proceed with the admission. The questions which is asked during the interview is very basic and easy.

One of the first things that made me fall in love with my college is the campus itself. It’s a beautiful blend of modern infrastructure and natural beauty. Whether it’s the well-maintained green spaces, the lively student zones, or the peaceful library corners, every spot has its own charm. Walking through the campus, you can always feel a sense of belonging—students chatting, discussing ideas, or simply enjoying the moment.
Academics here are top-notch, but what sets my college apart is the balance it maintains between education and extracurricular activities. The professors are not just teachers but mentors who genuinely care about our growth. Classes are engaging, with discussions that challenge us to think beyond textbooks. At the same time, we’re encouraged to participate in fests, cultural events, and sports, making sure our learning isn’t confined to lecture halls. Speaking of events, my college never has a dull moment. There’s always something happening—be it inter-college competitions etc. The campus fests are a highlight, bringing in a mix of music, dance, drama, and sports. These events have given me memories that I’ll cherish for a lifetime, from performing on stage to cheering my friends in competitions.

What I didn’t like

Nothing, I'm very happy about my college, it's a great place to study and grow as a person, you will definitely be a different person when you will leave this place

I completed my UG from this college, i was satisfied with the college hence my decision to pursue mba here, I've had a great experience in Kristu Jayanti College,for admission i had to write MAT exam, and then attend the interview which consisted of GD and personal interview.

What I Liked

Gymnasium and Sports Turf is pretty developed and clean.
Green Park is a good place to hangout with friends after classes.

What I didn’t like

Do not like the faculty, they impose certain restrictions on attendance.
Campus life is very busy and all day long we have to attend classes.

I submitted my 10th and 11th grade marks and got shortlisted, then they called me for interview. They asked me about my self introduction and some basic current affair questions, and commerce related common questions.

Life At KJC, Bengaluru!

What I Liked

Events and Fests are fabulous. You feel a different energy at those times.
Friends I made are like brothers now. They support me in every way I need.

What I didn’t like

Infrastructure is really cool. We have projectors, white boards and black boards in every class.
Cleanliness. The campus is really clean and green and it has been awarded many awards also.

Remarks:

Most important factor was the ranking the college holds. Its ranked 4th in the country for BCA, the program I'm pursuing. I read about it online while researching for colleges then went on to read about the reviews. The criteria is not that hard to meet and if you have good communication skills and right set of knowledge/skills, you can easily get into this college.

What I Liked

The campus has modern facilities, including spacious classrooms , a well stocked library, computer labs, and sports ground, the availability of resources and comfortable learning environments enhances the overall experience of life, the professors are approachable and knowledgeable always willing to guide students beyond classroom learning
Overall college provides a great balance of academics, extra curricular activities and career support, making the learning experience enriching and enjoyable life

What I didn’t like

While discipline is mandatory , the attendance policy can sometimes be too rigid , making it difficult for the students to balance activities with extra curricular activities . The campus could have more recreational activities and spaces like lounges, common rooms, or indoor activity centres to enhance student engagement
Improving placement opportunities and improving performance of outdated curriculum

This college offers everything for a student to excel in their life , from studying to extra curricular activities, the teachers are really good and they promote everything for the betterment of a student, tests are of two types mid sem and mid sem online and after that we have end sem Everything is well planned till the graduation
