Amity University Noida Admission FAQs

Ques. How competitive is admission at Amity University Noida?

Ans. Admission to Amity University Noida is usually seen as accessible when compared with highly competitive institutions such as DU or IITs. Applicants who satisfy the minimum eligibility requirements and perform reasonably well in the PI generally have a strong chance of selection. Students with academic scores in the 60-75% range in 10+2 have also secured admission in many cases, although popular programmes such as B.Tech CSE and BBA can face higher demand because of seat limitations.

Ques. What role does the Personal Interview play in the Amity University Noida selection process?

Ans. The Personal Interview is an important part of the selection process at Amity University Noida, though it is generally not considered very difficult. Questions are usually based on the candidate's academic background, reasons for choosing the programme, and general awareness. Rejections at this stage are not common, but they can happen if the candidate appears unclear, underprepared, or unable to explain their interest in the chosen field. Clear communication and confidence are usually enough to do well.

Ques. Is direct application a better route than applying through CUET or JEE for Amity University Noida?

Ans. Direct application is often considered the simpler and more dependable way to secure a seat early at Amity University Noida. Entrance examinations such as CUET or JEE Main are not compulsory for most courses, but they can be useful for scholarships or fee concessions. Many applicants choose to apply directly first and then submit entrance examination scores later if they obtain a strong percentile.

Ques. Does applying early make a difference at Amity University Noida?

Ans. Applying early can be helpful because high-demand programmes such as B.Tech (CSE), BBA, and Psychology tend to fill relatively quickly. Early application can also improve the chances of securing scholarship consideration and hostel accommodation, since these benefits may be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

I have to prepare for the CDS(combined defense services) entrance exam alongside other competitive exams Amity offers a decent student-teacher interaction and allows us to network efficiently within the community nearby, so it also allows me to have time on my hands for my daily routine and the Classes are quite flexible as compared to BHU or other DU colleges in my opinion I left out my seats for Sri Venki Benett BHU and Symbiosis for this very reason as the class time allocation is hectic and workload is high as well in those colleges which I couldn't give as I have to prepare for my future exams and other events that I hold as my part-time venture

The main factor for choosing this college was the course offered in logistics and supply chain management. There was a written test which consisted of MCQs and after passing that test, we had a interview round with the head of department. I prepared for this by practicing my self intro and academic backgrounds and topics related to logistics
