GGTU B.Tech Admission 2024

Across its campuses, GGTU offers admission to B. Tech programs in four specializations. Mechanical engineering is available on a different campus. The university has about 130 seats available, with the remainder reserved for students from special categories. The application must be submitted through the official website of the GGTU.

Eligibility Criteria

The following eligibility is expected from the applicant of B. Tech:

  • The candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% in Mathematics and a minimum of 50% in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry taken together on two exams, or any other exam recognized as equivalent, with those subjects listed as optional.

Selection Criteria

The B. Tech selection criteria at the GGTU include the following:

  • Applicants for the course will be shortlisted based on their marks in 12th.
  • The candidates would have to appear for a personal interview with copies of their documents.

GGTU PG Admission 2024

The merit list for admission to various PG courses offered by the GGTU was published on July 28, 2022. The current courses offered include LLM, MSc., MA and MBA.

Eligibility Criteria

The following eligibility is expected from the applicant of PG courses:

  • For admission into the LLM course, the candidate should have passed the LLB course recognized by the bar council of India.
  • For admission into M Sc. Mathematics course, the candidate should have passed M Sc. Mathematics at least with a 55% aggregate mark.
  • For admission into MA Education, the candidate should be graduated in any discipline with an aggregate mark of 50%.
  • For admission to MBA, the candidate should be graduated in any discipline with an aggregate mark of 50%.

Selection Criteria

The following selection criteria are expected for the applicant for PG courses:

  • Admission into the LLM course would be based on the candidate’s score in the previous exam attended. 
  • Admission into M Sc. Mathematics course would be based on the candidate’s score in the B Sc. Mathematics course. 
  • Admission into MA Education is merit-based.
  • Admission into MBA would also be based on merit.

GGTU Diploma Courses Admission 2024

GGTU offers admission to 2 diploma programs, namely, Yoga and Hotel management. The courses are one-year full-time courses, with on-campus classes. The application must be submitted through the GGTU's official website.

The selection of candidates would be merit-based. The seats available for the diploma courses are limited and thus the intake of candidates for each of the courses would be comparatively less.

GGTU Application Process 2024

The candidates have to follow the below steps to apply online for admission to the University of GGTU:

  • Visit the official website of the GGTU and click on the admission tab and see the application form.
  • Here, the candidates will be required to fill out the information about their education, including the name of their school, the exam board, the year they passed, and the percentage of marks they received, on the application form.
  • The candidates who are applying for post-graduation would have to enter details of their graduation like name of university, course, and marks scored.
  • In the account, the candidates can choose the course for which they candidate would like to apply.
  • Finally, a declaration should be made that all the information that you have entered is correct to your knowledge.
  • Click submit button. This will show you a preview before taking you to the gateway for paying registration fees.
  • The candidate has to pay an online registration fee which would be different from the course you choose. Online Payment Gateway facility enables payment through e-banking faculties like Credit cards (Visa/MasterCard) / Debit Card / Internet banking.
