Christ University Yeshwanthpur Campus Overall Experience

What I Liked

The campus is beautiful as it is newly built and spacious.
The social life is good as there are students from all over India .

What I didn’t like

The nearby area is still developing, so there's not much option to hangout.
The college is very strict about your id card , dress code , etc.

Placement Experience:

The placements and job opportunities are decent , not that great. As the average package for ug programs is 3-4 lpa. For pg course it is 5-6 lpa. The receipts visit include Deloitte, EY, PwC, Uniqlo, BCG, Stripe, Groww, etc

CHRIST: the truth u need to know

What I Liked

I love the campus life and the way events are being held in a professional and fun ways
The way different cultures are being respected in the college is the thing most of us would love to see

What I didn’t like

Thing i dislike about college is lack of infrastructure for people playing cricket
The very strict rules and regulations regarding the medical leave due to which one who really needs it and bringd all the proofs also fails to get the medical leave and maybe detained by the end of semester

Placement Experience:

Placements and internships offered on campus are good and criteria to be eligible form them is maintaining 85percent of attendance a good resume and confidence companies like DE SHAW GOLDMANSACHS TOYOTA JP MORGAN come to campus to recruit people for internships and job offerings highest package for this year was 28lakhs pa and average was 4lakh pa 70percent of the students got placed my plan after the degree is to get a good job work for 2 3 years for experience and then join my father's business

Internships Opportunities:

Not yet but will be applying next year but whereas i know my seniors they got internships in big firms like toyota goldmansachs with a avg stipend of 10k a month and mainly they had to work on management of resources HR and finances of the company

Life at Christ University

What I Liked

Great library facility, hygienic food , alot of fest and competitions keep taking place.

What I didn’t like

Data is the only issue in the campus , network is not strong and you have to come out of the building to call.

Placement Experience:

The placement are really good , students are given internship opportunities as well as job from the big companies like E&Y , Google , Goldmansachs etc . Almost 90% of the students get job due to placement.

Life at Christ University, Yeshwanthpur

What I Liked

Christ has a very versatile environment, both academically and to explore life on campus. You learn a lot and most importantly, learn to step out of your comfort zone which makes you quite confident later on in life.
The faculty are really nice and they nudge you to seek your greatest potential anytime you ask for help.

What I didn’t like

The strict college timings that do not allow much time for creativity.
The unnecessary rules like limited library hours and strict attendance policies that make you feel like a corporate slave.

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good as the university has connections with big MNCs. But how you perform during the interview is entirely on you as there is no guaranteed placement. The eligibility criteria for sitting for placements is minimum 75% attendance and no backlogs. The highest package offered so far on campus is 16LPA, although this campus is quite new. Most of the students get placed, almost 75% with worthwhile packages. My plan is to work for an MNC for a year and then go abroad for Masters.

Internships Opportunities:

Internships are available inside college with the Christ Consulting firm where they give legitimized certificates. No stipend is provided for the same. Other internship exams are informed and held throughout the year from second year as it is mandatory for students under NPTEL and stipends for the same vary from 15k to 80k. Companies include Goldman Sachs, D. E. Shaw, Deloitte, etc.

What I Liked

The peacock circle is very good place to hangout and chill.
The seminar hall is very good because you can sleep there if you are getting bored in the seminar

What I didn’t like

The college is very strict about the rules.
You have to wear tie everyday and formals also.

Placement Experience:

The placement criteria is ok because companies come at college and you give interview and it depends on there interest if you are selected for the company or not because it depends on the skills and courses you have done.

Internships Opportunities:

Basically in the second year you have to do a intership by yourself and then in the 5th semester you have to get an intership in Bangalore and you have to complete the intership in Bangalore only. It must be offline.

Fresher review of christ

What I Liked

The college is very aesthetic and good right now, it's still expanding so it fine and the best part is the football turf and the huge basement which is connected underground for all the blocks
The campus life is very fun as we have various events and clubs that we can take part at and even playing different sports after college hours , it's so much fun that I can't explain but we have to be ready for interactions with people and learn how to interact to make our college life better

What I didn’t like

Few of the faculties and very rude and are not understanding at all but not all there are good ones aswell , the attendance is an huge issue where even if it's the college's fault for not updating our attendance we have to pay for it by doing other work or remedial classes after college
The college is still not Fully developed so this is one of the cons and the I'd card and clothes are a huge issue at Christ so please only come if you are prepared to go to a stricter school than your high school lol the attendance is just bad 85% is too much

Placement Experience:

There are dedicated placement cells now deployed at Christ and even the teachers are helpful to land you an internship as freshers we do not have much use for it so we are not much knowledgeable about it but I heard that the faculties helpful and we do get paid

Internships Opportunities:

I haven't yet opted for any internships but I've heard that the college and faculties would help and guide us to land good internships as the seniors before have been also helped so I cannot say much because my college just started but yes .

Christ University Yeshwanthpur Campus - A New Campus Worth Going To?

What I Liked

The options for co and extra-curriculars are very good.
With it being a new campus, the city near us is growing as per our tastes.

What I didn’t like

It's a bit too strict at times and can cause a bit of stress.
The dress code is too harsh and can prove to be a barrier.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available and extremely diverse. My course has a par amount of placement opportunities in fields such as HR, Hospitality, Copywriting, Content writing and design. Employability in my course is increasing in this modern Indian landscape.

Internships Opportunities:

I had done internships via referrals as I wasn't necessarily interested in the internships provided by the college as they were not my type. I have done internships in Bengaluru F.C, Inspire Institute of Sport and Deloitte India.

What I Liked

College life is very lively here. If the students are enthusiastic and always taking parts in extracurricular like events or sports then college life is never boring of them.

What I didn’t like

Christ is very strict about it’s rules and regulations which is not bad also as the college is preparing us for becoming professionals

Placement Experience:

Christ is a very reputed college in Bangalore and even in india and outside. It is one of the top college for Business and management courses and many big companies come here for placements. Christ prepares you in becoming a professional and an ethical person and the brand name of christ will be always with you.

Internships Opportunities:

Big companies like goldman sachs provide internship opportunities here. Christ also has Christ consulting where if students get selected to be a part of it then they can gain real life experience. It’s an online internship
