The placements and job opportunities are decent , not that great. As the average package for ug programs is 3-4 lpa. For pg course it is 5-6 lpa. The receipts visit include Deloitte, EY, PwC, Uniqlo, BCG, Stripe, Groww, etc
I chose the college as it is best in BCA all over India, and also because of the brand name. For admission first there was a written test in college campus, then an interview and presentation on a given topic at the spot.
Read Full ReviewPlacements and internships offered on campus are good and criteria to be eligible form them is maintaining 85percent of attendance a good resume and confidence companies like DE SHAW GOLDMANSACHS TOYOTA JP MORGAN come to campus to recruit people for internships and job offerings highest package for this year was 28lakhs pa and average was 4lakh pa 70percent of the students got placed my plan after the degree is to get a good job work for 2 3 years for experience and then join my father's business
Good placement percentage a good reputation in the market got me intrested in choosing this college even the exposure i would get here by meeting new people and specially in a place like Bangalore you make a lot of good connections that come in handy for the lifetime and christ even supports holistic development which allows the students to focus in extracurricular as wellland yes i had to go through multiple written tests and a tricky interview that was done in campus offline not via any online portal you will have to travel to any of the campus of Christ University to give the interview no matter how far you live from the university campus but for written examination christ would provide you with a examination centre nearby your location the test for christ university is known as CUET(Christ University Entrance Exam) there is not other exam valid to take admission in this university. The cut off depends on the result like last year it was 88percent
Read Full ReviewThe placement are really good , students are given internship opportunities as well as job from the big companies like E&Y , Google , Goldmansachs etc . Almost 90% of the students get job due to placement.
Christ University is the top University for commerce and business management in Banglore,Karnataka. The placement rates are hight , which means that 80-90% of the students get jobs through placement. The cut off for the university is above 85% and high chances of getting in if you have scored above 90% . There are also entrance exams - one is through CUET and other is conducted by the university itself which consists of written or MCQ test (on computers) and interview . After getting selected you have to get all your documents verified and meet the dean for the final confirmation of your admission. The exams are purely based on general knowledge and everything that you have learnt in your school (including 11th and 12th) , though further preparation can be done as the university provides a link which you can refer to study for the exam conducted.
Read Full ReviewMy course deals with two majors- Psychology and Economics. My parent department is psychology. Let's just say, the faculty is ironical. The teachers assigned to us from the psychology department are hardly compassionate, they do not give you marks whatsoever. The Psychology department has an unsaid capping policy, where they assign the entire class an average grade and give maybe two students exceptional grades. Th Economics department is vibrant and lively. The faculty is amazing, interactive, approachable, and definitely knowledgeable. It is fun to sit in economics lectures because they are much more engaging. Our curriculum is new and based on the NEP policy, so I believe our course structure is wobbly, however, our juniors have a better-structured curriculum with a clear goal each semester. They have incorporated psychology and economics in a better manner for the juniors.
I chose the college mainly for convenience purposes. I had applied to other colleges but they were far from my home. Since the campus is relatively new, I would say the opportunities are greater in the Yeshwanthpur campus. The admission process is standard- application for the course, an exam (if applicable for the course), and an interview. For my course, I did not have to write an entrance exam, so I directly had an interview. The best way to prepare for the interview is to learn at least the basics of the course you're choosing. It makes a great impression on the interviewer if they recognize your zeal to pursue the course.
Read Full ReviewPlacements are quite good as the university has connections with big MNCs. But how you perform during the interview is entirely on you as there is no guaranteed placement. The eligibility criteria for sitting for placements is minimum 75% attendance and no backlogs. The highest package offered so far on campus is 16LPA, although this campus is quite new. Most of the students get placed, almost 75% with worthwhile packages. My plan is to work for an MNC for a year and then go abroad for Masters.
The admission process is held in 3 phases. Students can apply through any phase. The admission itself has 2 components - written, proctored exams and an interview with college professors and later if selected, by the dean. The questions are mainly based on the type of course you are planning to take so basic preparation as per school syllabus is enough. The good aspect of Christ is it is very versatile in all aspects. However the hard part of being in Christ are firstly the rules, and secondly the amount of effort they make you put to build yourself.
Read Full ReviewAll the faculties are highly educated. Most are IIM graduates . They discuss in depth rather than lecture. Classes are made less boring than expected. Course is designed such a way that students understand everything and doesnt miss out.
Initially for selection process you need to undergo an aptitude test then an interview with the faculty. The aptitude test will be moderate and interview will be based on your understanding about the college and course you have chosen. My course was interesting and new therefore joined this college.
Read Full ReviewI chose General BBA because I wanted to explore all the preferences that I had. Like Marketing, Finance, Business Analytics, everything that Christ can offer. The faculties however aren’t that good, as in they do not know how to teach and make things a bit more complicated for us to learn.
The admission process is tiring, they will ask you to come to the campus compulsorily with one of your parent and it’s a long process. There was a written exam round, a skill assessment round and an interview - for interview we have quite many options but try to choose Bangalore Central Campus if you want to take admission in Central Campus. The YPR campus is good but it lacks good faculties.
Read Full ReviewThe placement criteria is ok because companies come at college and you give interview and it depends on there interest if you are selected for the company or not because it depends on the skills and courses you have done.
It was the no 1 college according to google and I like the fact that teachers are not that strict if you are interactive with them. The admission process if like you have to pay 1500 for the entrance exam and interview round. If you not get selected for 1st you can apply for the 2nd and 3rd round because there are 3 rounds.
Read Full ReviewThere are dedicated placement cells now deployed at Christ and even the teachers are helpful to land you an internship as freshers we do not have much use for it so we are not much knowledgeable about it but I heard that the faculties helpful and we do get paid
Admission process was hectic because I had to travel to Bangalore 2 times for interview and final counselling which was basically a formality so no need to stress over that there was no entrance exam for ba psychology and no critiria for your marks aswell just be confident in your interview
Read Full ReviewPlacements are available and extremely diverse. My course has a par amount of placement opportunities in fields such as HR, Hospitality, Copywriting, Content writing and design. Employability in my course is increasing in this modern Indian landscape.
The college is very strict on certain rules but it can be taken in both good and bad ways. It does help us shape our careers better. For the admission process I had to at that time sit for an online interview and micro presentation.
