I chose the college mainly for convenience purposes. I had applied to other colleges but they were far from my home. Since the campus is relatively new, I would say the opportunities are greater in the Yeshwanthpur campus. The admission process is standard- application for the course, an exam (if applicable for the course), and an interview. For my course, I did not have to write an entrance exam, so I directly had an interview. The best way to prepare for the interview is to learn at least the basics of the course you're choosing. It makes a great impression on the interviewer if they recognize your zeal to pursue the course.
My course deals with two majors- Psychology and Economics. My parent department is psychology. Let's just say, the faculty is ironical. The teachers assigned to us from the psychology department are hardly compassionate, they do not give you marks whatsoever. The Psychology department has an unsaid capping policy, where they assign the entire class an average grade and give maybe two students exceptional grades. Th Economics department is vibrant and lively. The faculty is amazing, interactive, approachable, and definitely knowledgeable. It is fun to sit in economics lectures because they are much more engaging. Our curriculum is new and based on the NEP policy, so I believe our course structure is wobbly, however, our juniors have a better-structured curriculum with a clear goal each semester. They have incorporated psychology and economics in a better manner for the juniors.
The fee that I am currently paying is 80,000. The original cost is 1,00,000, however, if you are a resident of Karnataka and have an Aadhar card to prove it, the fee will be lowered to 80,000. There are scholarship programs, but I'm not entirely aware of them. My friends paid the complete 1,00,000 since they are not from Karnataka.
Campus life is fantastic. Something is going on every day. The fests are dynamic-Darpan (which is a college fest), Blossoms (inter-department and then inter-campus fest), Bhasha Utsav (ethnic day), and Magnificant (Christmas celebration) are some of the fests. The library can be so much better. The collection is dry, in my opinion. They should expand and get in some fictional novels because the library should be inclusive. There are numerous clubs that you can join for extracurriculars. There's dance, music, sports, literature, theatre, and more.
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
