Amar singh the dream college

What I Liked

This is one of the biggest college in the Srinagar and the faculty of the college is quite quite nice
The campus of the college is quite big and the infrastructure is one of the best in the Nagar

What I didn’t like

The college should organise more sports festival for the students as there are many students who want to engage in the sports as well
This is one of the biggest college in the Srinagar and the college should maintain cleanness in the

Placement Experience:

The placement of jobs in cities in the college is quite high. The faculty helps the students to get their desired jobs. The college has a high placement percentage and it is also the biggest college in Srinagar

Internships Opportunities:

No, I haven’t applied for any internship as this is my first year in the college but many job opportunities have come in this college and many big companies go for the internship. In this college. The task in the college is to build a website and see what type of knowledge students have

Vintage but neglected

What I Liked

I do like the vintage infrastructure of my college and also. The new buildings are nice I like my. Teachers a lot because amar singh dosen't have much to give but I think I'm lucky to get such nice teachers
The campus life is not as din as the campus is not that huge or anything also we don't have any kind of fests or such activites which I think are important for college students once in a while but we've never had that

What I didn’t like

The campus life is really boring and the teachers are stupidly rude sometimes for no reason at all and we don't have any fun activities or anything the campus life is overall boring.
Infrastructure is vintage as I said but it's not well maintained as a result it is in bad condition from the inside.

Placement Experience:

We don't have any placements in our college and there are no recruiters. I plan to study outside kashmir after my graduation as i feel like it'd rovide me better placements and oppertunities... I'd want there to be internship opportunities as it is the most basic part of a collage life

Amar sing college explained by students

What I Liked

Like the faculty campus and the college ground
And also the canteen are is really good. And it Is very clean

What I didn’t like

Washroom make me feel uncomfortable many times
And some outdoors that came to our college and make some different situations

Placement Experience:

It haven't started yet as per the policies of our college the intership starts from the fifth sem as I have seen from past year some companies came to our college for the internship and some placement of students

I fell very good and comfortable

What I Liked

Teachers are good at their field which helps us in clearing our doubt.
Infrastructure is almost good... No of movies take place in our collage eg lela Majnu, lal sing chada

What I didn’t like

Washrooms are some what unhygienic which makes me uncomfortable.
No of holidays is also a factor which i dislike about my collage

Placement Experience:

There are no job and placement opportunities after completing your degree with good score. But if not yu can prepare for civil services or state pcs or other competative exams . Package varies it almost starts from 70000 and goes upto 200000.

Internships Opportunities:

Contemporary i am studying in 4th sem and there is no intership But it starts from 5th semester. In intership yu get lot of information about the things, people your subject. I am persuing my degree in humanities after completing it i can opt for Gate, Set Net etc.

College review of one of the top colleges in Srinagar

What I Liked

Good infrastructure and the too with qualified faculty

What I didn’t like

Last year ist was all green but this year about 80% tress were cut down without planting any new .

Placement Experience:

The recent placement drive was carried by a company which provided 10 lakh per annum. I didn't take part in it as the main target was the students from the departmentd of commerce and economics. Another job drive was run but that time my exams were going on.

Internships Opportunities:

No. The internship courses are not worth of time and money . I think that is waste of time as the course are not perftly designed according to need of the students , and managing time gets difficult and as there is not enough money paid .

"Where every classroom feels like a second living room , your home away from home

What I Liked

Great infrastructure compared to other colleges in valley, amazing parks, fountains, trees. Also smart classes are amazing.
Great faculty, teaches academics as well as life lessons. Takes care like family elders. Also are concerned about our life to make it bright and shining.

What I didn’t like

There are many washroom points for girls in campus around 3-4 but only 1 for boys
Faculty is amazing! But there is always exception 1-2 teachers are a bit narcissistic.

Placement Experience:

The college conducts a job fair once every year for the senior semesters and also for juniors. Mainly they are private Ltd companies but govt. Companies also show up. Students are invited through notice boards social media announcements and also newspapers. They also give opportunities to ex-students.

Internships Opportunities:

I've completed my internship with an entertainment-based company as a video editor. And it was an amazing experience. The payment was also satisfying. I worked with them for At least 1 month and I learned many things also got a cheque for 20k

AMAR SINGH AND MY EXPERIENCE

What I Liked

The ambience of the college, the heritage building which is almost a centuries-old.
The faculty, who are highly qualified and are very down to earth and amiable.

What I didn’t like

The opportunities they provide are dismal.
The placement which never takes place there is something to be liked the least

Placement Experience:

No placements take place in our college, no internships. No company or organisation comes in to provide opportunities for careers. You need to have qualified 12th to get into this college. If not for professional courses you have to struggle for placements.

Internships Opportunities:

No, I haven't joined any internship for there was no opportunity provided by the college. Only if they had provided an opportunity I would have made the most of it, however unfortunately couldn't embark on it due to their lack of concern.

What I Liked

I like infrastructure of this college...
Faculty members of this college is very supportive

What I didn’t like

Some classroom are damaged they have repair
Some students acts like children. That's the weird thing I dislike in this college

Placement Experience:

I don't know about the job placement at this college but after completing my program I will do a job in UAE as a software Engineer this college is very good for everyone their students are also cooperative and helpful.

Internships Opportunities:

I didn't do any internship in this college. But this college is very historical and classroom of this is upgraded smart classrooms are available and faculty members have good behavior towards students.

What I Liked

College staff is best they are very friendly and teach us very well.infrasturcture is superb.
Environment is very eco-friendly clean and clear everything is superb.principal is very friendly to us .

I like about the college that the faculty is quite good and infrastructure is is one of the best in the Srinagar
The faculty of the college is brilliant as they are the best faculty of the Kashmir right now
