Vintage but neglected

- I do like the vintage infrastructure of my college and also. The new buildings are nice I like my. Teachers a lot because amar singh dosen't have much to give but I think I'm lucky to get such nice teachers
- The campus life is not as din as the campus is not that huge or anything also we don't have any kind of fests or such activites which I think are important for college students once in a while but we've never had that
Dislikes
- The campus life is really boring and the teachers are stupidly rude sometimes for no reason at all and we don't have any fun activities or anything the campus life is overall boring.
- Infrastructure is vintage as I said but it's not well maintained as a result it is in bad condition from the inside.
Remarks :
I've always studied in an all girls school so I wanted to do co-ed in college and Amar singh was very close to my residence The addmission process was smooth I had to give the cuet exam and on the score basis I got into this college
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose the course because I feel like it can get me to use my skills I really like my teachers actually because they've always been supportive and good to me The semester exams are not that tough but they don't do very apt checking they deduct a lot of marks.
Placement Experience :
We don't have any placements in our college and there are no recruiters. I plan to study outside kashmir after my graduation as i feel like it'd rovide me better placements and oppertunities... I'd want there to be internship opportunities as it is the most basic part of a collage life
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
26,000 yearly + the exam form fee i.e around 5000 rs a year Some of my batchmates have lesser fee than me and some have more it depends on the cource and the subjects you've choosen the scholarships are fine but idk about it as I have not opted for it
Campus Life :
We didn't have any fests or anything like that but I did attend the fests of the other colleges through my own college. We have all the sallybus books in the library but the library timing is not very acceptable as it opens an hour after the college start and is closed an hour before the college timing We didn't have any social groups or clubs initially but we made them ourselves when we came to this college.

Placement Experience :
Placements in our college are average only, not very high but not zero also. Few companies come every year for campus recruitment, like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and some local construction firms. They mostly offer roles like junior engineer, site supervisor or trainee. Highest package was around 8 LPA for IT profile, average goes between 3-4 LPA. Almost 50-60% students get placed from campus, rest students go for off campus or higher studies. Eligibility for placement is you need minimum 6.5 CGPA and no active backlogs, also they check communication skills in interviews. No big mass recruiters like in IITs, but still some opportunities are there if you prepare well. If not getting placed through campus, I plan to try off campus drives and also thinking to prepare for govt exams or maybe do M.Tech. College do conduct some training sessions and mock interviews but main thing depends on self preparation.

Placement Experience :
Here almost 95% students got placed.average salary is around 6-7 lpa.Companies like wipro,infuses,bhel visited here.my plan after degree is to do mtech from iits. Highest package is around 45 lakhs (off campus). On campus it is around 25 lpa.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I am always moved by my college’s course curriculum which is multicultural and gives students a wide range of choices. The courses are demanding but the lecturers are always ready to provide support and counsel. It is affordable to all through scholarships and fair fees.
Placement and college life at IIT Jammu
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement depends on the company, majorly all companies asks for minimum CGPA of 7 or 7.5. Some past major companies which comes for recruitment are amazon, sprinklr, paytm, nvidia, ICICI bank, HDFC bank, maruti suzuki etc. According to 2023 data, highest package offered was 53 LPA, average package offered was 18 LPA, minimum package was 5 LPA. Percentage of students get placed in 2023 is 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to either works on corporate or to prepare for UPSC.

quality of teaching is crucial, instructor give their best in the class and class strength is divides in two section according their enrollment number.i think fees is affordable and fees waiver for different category.
My University Life In The University of Kashmir.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for the placements of jobs was 65% in the grade card if graduation. The recruitment process was followed by a job examination and job interview. Cipla, SKIMS were some of the recruiters that visited the university and offered almost 15 jobs. The average package offered by the recruiters was 40-70 thousands per month. And the highest package offered by the recruiters was 1.1 Lakh per month. In this recruitment process almost 40% students got placements. I got a private job in a private pharmacy company. Now, I have chosen this job as my carrier after getting the degree.

Review of SSM college
Placement Experience :
There were no job or placement opportunities available and it didn’t bothered the college. The main aim of the students as well included to just pass the degree and get out of there. Faculties also discouraged about the job market scenario outside the college which alleviated the trouble.

Previously there was 100% on campus placement in university but now it's only somewhat 70%. Companies come for placement also they select students but most of time it sells based company not a product based company also they offer quit low packages. Most of students try off Campus Placement where they get some good offers. Average package is about 5-7 lakh
