Remarks :
I got it it on CUET score it was well known GFTI of Jammu Kashmir and also prestigious college. So I choosed it. I was getting low rank Government college and Private Colleges. If your rank in JEE is quite low you can prefer this college
Course Curriculum Overview :
Courses are based on NEP and AICTI approved but Academics is quite hectic specially in my branch but Faculties are well qualified as it was ranked college so most of faculty have set their bar. But also you will get less time for skill development
Internships Opportunities :
I didn't opted for any Internship for Internship you need to try off campus. They don't provide much internship opportunities but Internship is compulsory in academics even it is graded. Sometime they replace Internship with Mooc Course
Placement Experience :
Previously there was 100% on campus placement in university but now it's only somewhat 70%. Companies come for placement also they select students but most of time it sells based company not a product based company also they offer quit low packages. Most of students try off Campus Placement where they get some good offers. Average package is about 5-7 lakh
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I found that fee is normal in this university on comparing to many other government college and also Hostel fee too low and hostel facilities are too good but mess food is not of that quality but Mess fee is too cheaper in comparison to other Colleges. Also You have scholarship opportunities based on your academics performance and JEE marks
Campus Life :
Campus is not that boring but also not much it's kind of okaish. Social life of college is quite and some clubs are active some are not but their is gradual development in clubs. Library facility is too good having world class journal and you can find book of your need easily. Classroom contains smart boards and also lecture theatre are present in campus. Also fest on regular basis happen in university like Resurgence the Culture fest, Titiksha the Tech Fest, Saarang The sport fest and many departmental fest
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel and Mess fee are too cheap in comparison to other College hostels. Hostel of SMVDU is too good in comparison of Hostel fee but Mess is not of that level. Food quality is too low and they don't have much varieties in menu.
Interview Experience :
No... Admission process is not that complex. You can easily take admission in this college also have online payment option and there is also bank present inside campus and Admission shell is cooperative

For placement University conducted job fair for the students where Banks, Private sector industries HR's also visited to take interview and thoroughly conducted the interview and make selection of the deserving students.

Placement Experience :
Placements in our college are average only, not very high but not zero also. Few companies come every year for campus recruitment, like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and some local construction firms. They mostly offer roles like junior engineer, site supervisor or trainee. Highest package was around 8 LPA for IT profile, average goes between 3-4 LPA. Almost 50-60% students get placed from campus, rest students go for off campus or higher studies. Eligibility for placement is you need minimum 6.5 CGPA and no active backlogs, also they check communication skills in interviews. No big mass recruiters like in IITs, but still some opportunities are there if you prepare well. If not getting placed through campus, I plan to try off campus drives and also thinking to prepare for govt exams or maybe do M.Tech. College do conduct some training sessions and mock interviews but main thing depends on self preparation.

Placement Experience :
Here almost 95% students got placed.average salary is around 6-7 lpa.Companies like wipro,infuses,bhel visited here.my plan after degree is to do mtech from iits. Highest package is around 45 lakhs (off campus). On campus it is around 25 lpa.

I am always moved by my college’s course curriculum which is multicultural and gives students a wide range of choices. The courses are demanding but the lecturers are always ready to provide support and counsel. It is affordable to all through scholarships and fair fees.
Placement and college life at IIT Jammu
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement depends on the company, majorly all companies asks for minimum CGPA of 7 or 7.5. Some past major companies which comes for recruitment are amazon, sprinklr, paytm, nvidia, ICICI bank, HDFC bank, maruti suzuki etc. According to 2023 data, highest package offered was 53 LPA, average package offered was 18 LPA, minimum package was 5 LPA. Percentage of students get placed in 2023 is 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to either works on corporate or to prepare for UPSC.

quality of teaching is crucial, instructor give their best in the class and class strength is divides in two section according their enrollment number.i think fees is affordable and fees waiver for different category.
My University Life In The University of Kashmir.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for the placements of jobs was 65% in the grade card if graduation. The recruitment process was followed by a job examination and job interview. Cipla, SKIMS were some of the recruiters that visited the university and offered almost 15 jobs. The average package offered by the recruiters was 40-70 thousands per month. And the highest package offered by the recruiters was 1.1 Lakh per month. In this recruitment process almost 40% students got placements. I got a private job in a private pharmacy company. Now, I have chosen this job as my carrier after getting the degree.

Placement Experience :
There were no job or placement opportunities available and it didn’t bothered the college. The main aim of the students as well included to just pass the degree and get out of there. Faculties also discouraged about the job market scenario outside the college which alleviated the trouble.
