- The infrastructure of the University is quite good that have central library, computer labs, research labs etc.
- The faculty of the University is quite cooperative with the students and helps the student where they have difficulties in their studies.
Dislikes
- The vehicles are not allowed with in the campus and chaos during the parking of 4 vehicle.
- The students not follow the rules and regulations regarding cleanliness of the campus rather sometimes not using dustbin.
Remarks :
The University Campus is good to do Masters of Commerce after qualifying JUET exam then apply for the course in which you opted for then merit list released on merit list after that we can take admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is essential after b.com for the higher studies aspirants. The exam for the course conducted twice in a year as semester wise. The student must have to qualify minimum 3 out of 5 subject to take take admission in next semester.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, I have opted for HDFC Bank interview and they got selected me but I left after some time due to another placement. The job profile is to do operation and opening of new bank accounts of the new customers to make aware of the HDFC banking facilities.
Placement Experience :
For placement University conducted job fair for the students where Banks, Private sector industries HR's also visited to take interview and thoroughly conducted the interview and make selection of the deserving students.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The annual fees of the student is 12000 with additional to 1500 per semester for examination fees. The category students related to SC, ST get scholarship by central and state sponsored schemes. The financial aid of upto 10000 per annum to be given as financial students to deserving ones.
Campus Life :
The University celebrated certain fest on time to time in campus like Republic day, Independence day, Holi, Lohri etc. The central library of University of Jammu comprises of 1 lakh+ books related to Science, Management and Humanities discipline. The University conducted state level, National level sports and extracurricular activities in the campus. Many students have started NGO on social websites like fb, instagram for the helping nation related work.
Hostel Facilities :
The quality of food is quite good. The registration process is quite simple just fill a form and deposit form and then allotment of hostel facilities. It is mandatory to apply for food and message facilities otherwise not granted.

Placement Experience :
Placements in our college are average only, not very high but not zero also. Few companies come every year for campus recruitment, like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and some local construction firms. They mostly offer roles like junior engineer, site supervisor or trainee. Highest package was around 8 LPA for IT profile, average goes between 3-4 LPA. Almost 50-60% students get placed from campus, rest students go for off campus or higher studies. Eligibility for placement is you need minimum 6.5 CGPA and no active backlogs, also they check communication skills in interviews. No big mass recruiters like in IITs, but still some opportunities are there if you prepare well. If not getting placed through campus, I plan to try off campus drives and also thinking to prepare for govt exams or maybe do M.Tech. College do conduct some training sessions and mock interviews but main thing depends on self preparation.

Placement Experience :
Here almost 95% students got placed.average salary is around 6-7 lpa.Companies like wipro,infuses,bhel visited here.my plan after degree is to do mtech from iits. Highest package is around 45 lakhs (off campus). On campus it is around 25 lpa.

I am always moved by my college’s course curriculum which is multicultural and gives students a wide range of choices. The courses are demanding but the lecturers are always ready to provide support and counsel. It is affordable to all through scholarships and fair fees.
Placement and college life at IIT Jammu
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement depends on the company, majorly all companies asks for minimum CGPA of 7 or 7.5. Some past major companies which comes for recruitment are amazon, sprinklr, paytm, nvidia, ICICI bank, HDFC bank, maruti suzuki etc. According to 2023 data, highest package offered was 53 LPA, average package offered was 18 LPA, minimum package was 5 LPA. Percentage of students get placed in 2023 is 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to either works on corporate or to prepare for UPSC.

quality of teaching is crucial, instructor give their best in the class and class strength is divides in two section according their enrollment number.i think fees is affordable and fees waiver for different category.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for the placements of jobs was 65% in the grade card if graduation. The recruitment process was followed by a job examination and job interview. Cipla, SKIMS were some of the recruiters that visited the university and offered almost 15 jobs. The average package offered by the recruiters was 40-70 thousands per month. And the highest package offered by the recruiters was 1.1 Lakh per month. In this recruitment process almost 40% students got placements. I got a private job in a private pharmacy company. Now, I have chosen this job as my carrier after getting the degree.

Decent placement is seen here.Students get placed from semester 7 .TCs,Adobe etc companies comes here to give opportunities for students.Highest package of last year from chemical branch is 13 lakh and median is 7.5 lakh.

Placement Experience :
There were no job or placement opportunities available and it didn’t bothered the college. The main aim of the students as well included to just pass the degree and get out of there. Faculties also discouraged about the job market scenario outside the college which alleviated the trouble.

Placement Experience :
Previously there was 100% on campus placement in university but now it's only somewhat 70%. Companies come for placement also they select students but most of time it sells based company not a product based company also they offer quit low packages. Most of students try off Campus Placement where they get some good offers. Average package is about 5-7 lakh
